I either dive into video games, or listen to old time radio shows. I luuuurve Dragnet. :)
I re-read a LOT. All the time, as a matter of fact. So much that I no longer count those re-reads as reads once I've written a review for them somewhere. In all honesty, I probably re-read at least 1-2 books a week.
That's ridiculous. :)I'm kidding. I re-watch favorite cartoons over and over and I've probably listened to the HHGTTG radio plays about fifty times.
And I've got the complete set of Primary, Secondary, Tertiary, Quandary, and Quintessential Phases so it's a rather long listen to hear it all again.
I actually managed to work my last three books into the challenge. Not a perfect fit, but we're 2/3 into the year so I'm getting extra creative as needed. :P

I think that works, lol.
Thanks! :) I finally started reading Afraid last night, which has been on the TBR for a long time. It's... okay. It just starts out with such brutality that it's difficult to feel things ramping up, you know? There's a mystery to it that's interesting, and the depiction of the bad guys is, at times, amusing. And I think I'm about halfway through so it's a fairly quick read.
Added Afraid to my do-not-forget list. Sounds like my kind of thing and the reviews are really good.
I'm not actually going to be completing this challenge. I mean, I'm not torn up over it or anything. LOL I just think I needed to put that out there so I can accept it and go on with my life. :D
I found a poet that I really, really like. Ordered a book, on its way. So I'll be knocking that one off the list. I originally planned to re-read some Rumi but I think this is a better plan.Oh, and I will be counting It as my 20th century classic, when I get around to my re-read, which will be between now and Halloween.
Well, when I'm really into a book I can easily top 100 pages a day, and I've got just over 6 weeks till Halloween. I can handle it. Being a no-lifer has its advantages. :D

You seem like the opposite to me, zombie girl.
Indeed. :)I have been wanting to re-read It for quite a while, so the time seems perfect for several reasons, some of which I can't explain without feeling silly so I'll just say that it's because of Halloween approaching. :D
Well, yes, but it's a 1000+ page book that I've read before which, I think, changes things considerably. Unlike Nelson "Inanity" DeMille, I know what to expect here. And that "downnnnnnnn" totally sounded like a groan in my head. LOL
I did not read IT. I didn't read much of anything on my Halloween reading list. But I did finish a book of poetry, and started a book set in Nashville so I just updated my list.

That or I go read something from a very small collection of unread stuff.
