Do I count?

They're especially intrigued by the notion of Inkshares being a community and not just a potential publisher. Self-publishing can be lonely and alienating, and the idea that none of us is doing this alone has, I think many would agree, been a huge boon during these campaigns.
Personally, I never anticipated this part of the equation. I jumped in anyway, but if I was on the fence or even leaning away from it, knowing about that community aspect would've pushed me over. So I'd play that up in any efforts to sway people in this direction. It's incredibly valuable and very unique.

Based on some research I've done, it seems getting on podcasts is the best way to go to get influencers to promote us. This is great for authors, but with fiction it's a bit tougher to find relevant podcasts for that. However, we have a unique slant, each of us, since we are not only authors of books but authors who are part of a revolutionary new trend in publishing. That opens the door to podcasts about books, writing, publishing, etc.
Let e get my notes together and we can start working together on this to co-ordinate a bit.
Please, can anyone interested email me and I'll get this in a group email? @elan, @billy @yicheng @peter -- I have all your email addresses so I can include you in a startup email. Meanwhile, anyone else, drop me a line. Please let me know if you don't want to be part of this as we will be doing podcasts / audio, which is a slightly different approach than text-based blogging.

I will be writing an article on hybrid publishing with Inkshares as an example and relating to my experience with the platform. This article will be aimed to inform the audience of writers who are looking at alternate paths to publication. I've done some research into suitable blogs and at present have a list of about 50 I could pitch to. I plan to follow through on this over the next several months, with the aim of creating more awareness about Inkshares in the writer world from the first-hand experience of someone who has been on the platform, seen it grow, and who will soon be published.
What I'd like to do is get together with other bloggers here who feel they could also write an informative article to pitch to these blogs / join up in helping me grow my list of blogs we could pitch to. The way I'm seeing this, it's all about creating more awareness about Inkshares for writers and getting more writers here so this community can continue to grow (and so that those writers can bring their readers over here too).
