Sofia "Sonya" Aleksandrovna Rostova.(Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812)

History: Sonya, often overshadowed by livelier, if more vain and spoiled Natasha, her cousin, arrived in Moscow with Natasha to visit the latter's godmother, the blunt and prudish Marya Dmitrievna Akhrosimova ((yes, that's where my username comes from)). Natasha was at the time engaged to Andrey Bolkonsky, but while he was away, Natasha experienced a rather undesirable visit to his father and brother, and then met the rebellious Anatole Kuragin, brother-in-law of the other titular character Pierre, and was somewhat enchanted. After a bit of persuasion from Anatole's sister, Helene, Natasha attended a ball and they kissed, then planning elopement. Little did she know, Anatole was married and Natasha would risk losing her engagement by associating with Anatole in such a manner. Thus Sonya, having learnt of Natasha's plans, attempted to persuade her against such an action but failed. However, when Anatole and his friend Dolokhov arrived with the troika driver Balaga at Marya's house where the two cousins were staying, they were stopped by Marya (let me clarify, that's not me). Natasha, having discovered what Sonya did, took arsenic and fell ill. Shortly after, Andrey returned and refused Natasha. Natasha was soon after visited by Pierre, a close friend of her godmother's, but Sonya does not know the reasons.

History: When she was young, Mekaru was really close to her parents. But one day her parents died in a mysterious accident. After her parents deaths, Mekaru was forced to live with her aunt and uncle. However, her aunt and uncle hated her and abused her and she was also bullied at school. One day she couldn't take the abusing anymore and she ran away from home.

Personality:
Quiet and shy, Zu is the definition of introvert. She is extremely intelligent and often stays up at night to scribble in a notebook. Zu is an a very hard worker and is great with both steampunk designs and modern technology. Most adults she knows find her exceedingly polite. She is generally wirtdrawn from her suroundings, and always seems to be whispering some complex plan to herself.
Zu is still capable of making friends. Once she gets over the initial urge to hide, she can hold up a conversation and charm others with her strangeness. Her uncommon but contagious laugh draws people in during first impressions. She really is goodhearted and cares for those around her, even if she has trouble showing it.
Zu is often caught lingering alone with a stoic expression and is quick to ice out anyone she finds irritating. She is logical and prefers to use sarcasm to shut people down quite efficiently, rather than showing anger or hurt. But when she sees something that intrests her, she visibly brightens and a sparkling cloud of energy settles around her.
Zu is so independent that her protective parents sent her alone on a flight away from the crowded island she's lived in her entire life, in search for juvinile work and a better lifestyle they dream of her one day fufilling.
