Emblematic of its ever-growing sisterhood, Gamma Phi Beta prizes the crescent moon. Its official flower is the pink carnation, a long-lasting blossom. The bloom’s scent is considered both uplifting and motivating. The sisterhood’s colors are brown and mode. Mode can mean both light brown and “the style of the day;” consequently, pink has been chosen as the second color nationally. The Shifters found this sorority naturally fitting for them.
