Alpha Phis chose the ivy leaf for their badges. An ever-growing vine, the ivy symbolizes the growth of the Alpha Phi sisterhood. The sorority colors are silver and bordeaux while the flowers are the fragrant lily of the valley and the blue and gold forget-me-not. The Ursa Major constellation is also important to the organization. These stars take the shape of a bear; therefore, Alpha Phi adopted the “Phi Bear” as their mascot. The Nymphs chose this group as their sorority.
