Our Independent Project - Documentary

Well when we write a proposal I can always send that to them . Maybe it will be lucky shot ;) .
I just sent you a message with all of this, but here it goes:
1) You'll need people in charge of a few things, such as production, edition, translating, screenwriting and maybe a designer in order to make a logo for the movie, not to mention someone responsible for the soundtrack. It's your project, even though you say it's ours, but you need someone responsible for specific things. I can help you with production, because it's what I do here too. I know my way around editing if you need it and I can translate from portuguese to english.
2) People are afraid it will be boring too see many faces in sequence talking about gender and stuff, you can mix videos, when someone is talking, let's say, I'm speaking about Brazil and feminism here, you can insert images of Brazil, protests, and even videos from the media (I know a few people that were shooting the protests around here and I can get you images), images from websites and thinks like that, to illustrate what the person is saying. It's what we do in documentaries to break the tension. You can watch Emma's interview about gender equality in the fashion industry and see it for yourself. It's on youtube, they dont use images, but they show the person giving the interview from a diferent angle.
3) Deadlines: Even if you're not in a hurry to do this, you need to have a deadline or, what we call in the movie industry, a production sheet. Where you'll write down everyone involved whit this project, what they're doing to help. who's sending interviews (they need a deadline for that too), and the most important, everyone who's going to put their faces on screen need to sign a document giving you the right to use their image, otherwise you'll be in trouble lately (it's good to trust people, but we never know). Same thing with music, try to use Creative Commons artists, or send e-mails to a few bands to seek their aproval, it would be good that when someone from India is speaking, some kind of sound or music plays so we can relate to that... thats just an idea. (That why you need someone to take care of music, otherwise you'll end up with too many ideas and you wont be able to pick just one).
Let's make it happen! :D

Ok I'm already looking for another song, in case it doesn't work. :)"
No worries! If you do a general google search with keywords like "free music to use for y..."
For music you can always use the Youtube Audio Library, a huge variety of soundtracks and jingles that are free to use.
Or go to Incompetech , here you can find some royalty-free music you can use by giving credits to the maker :)
