I personally love my not-at-all-creative alliteration

Some Rules/Things You Should Know

Detail: Quality over quantity. Basically, I find that in rps, once you get to a certain length, writing becomes kind of repetitive and redundant, as theres only so much you can write without controlling the other person's character. However, detail is important to give me something to work with when replying, so around one or two full-sized paragraphs is my usual standard. Three is pushing it, and four is just too much in my opinion.

Replies: I'm not going to nag you, so I just ask for the same in return. It's totally ok to post a reminder or ask when I might be able to reply, but we all have lives outside of goodreads, and things I need to do are higher on my list than things I do for fun.

Genders: I prefer playing female characters, as do a lot of others, so my general rule is doubles or I play the girl. Even if I don't have ideas for doubles, I'm almost always willing to incorporate it or figure something out with you. For romances I'm willing to do FxF and FxM, but I've never written MxM and like, since I prefer writing female characters, I'm just not overly excited to start writing it. Also I don't like going past kissing scenes, I find it kind of unnecessary.

Talking: Please talk to me; it feels so awkward when the only communication is for plot, then "." as a reminder and rp posts. You don't have to tell me your life story or anything, but even just contributing ideas about the plot or lamenting homework struggles is cool.

Anyways I'll be posting ideas and the like here, so just let me know if you're interested in anything :)

Ok so I've been meaning to get ideas up but I'm not going to lie I've been in a major creative slump so if anyone wants to brainstorm things with me I'm currently thinking about:

• Something based on the mortal instruments (I know theres some people doing that already but whoops I didn't get involved). I was thinking maybe set in a different time period? Maybe the 1920s or in the future. Probably tension/war between shadowhunters and downworlders. I know it's super cliche but I'd like to do something with a parabatai romance or maybe a warlocks. Or both. Both is good. Anyways as many people as are interested in this is good, we can build a plot?

• Something based around fairy tales happening in proximity to/crashing into one another, kind of like into the woods? But, you know, not into the woods. It would have a different plot, and we could interpret the fairy tales differently and/or use different ones. As I said earlier, I'm not feeling very creative, but I'd be really happy to start trying to brainstorm with someone, so if you're in a fairy tale mood at all, let me know. Again, this can be open to however many people want to be involved.

Emma | 81 comments Muse A is the prince/princess of their kingdom. Their family has very powerful magic, and they are tasked with maintaining the magical borders of the kingdom and keeping the peace. Muse B is a young commoner who wishes to protect the kingdom in a similar way. They never dreamed that they might have to. One day, Muse B received a letter instructing them to sneak past the guards and enter the palace. It was signed by the prince/princess. Not one to ignore a royal summons, Muse B did as they were instructed. But upon his arrival and meeting with Muse A, Muse B learned that none of the royals had sent for him--they didn't even know who he was.

But this unexpected arrival caused Muse A much concern. They had recently been practicing the art of precognition, and had seen a great evil descending on the land. They thought that whatever or whoever this evil power was, it must have wanted Muse B to be at the palace, as a part of their plan. So, Muse A urged Muse B to leave, and hide somewhere they might be safe.

So Muse B ran, changed their name, and moved to a new village. Some years later, this horribly powerful being managed to invade the castle, kill Muse A's parents, and trapped Muse A somewhere they could not use their magic.

The lack of a royal family to maintain the kingdom's borders caused the magical shields to begin collapsing, allowing monsters into the kingdom. Muse B figured that since Muse A wasn't dead yet, the new ruler would likely want to use them to strengthen his hold on the kingdom, or for something even more sinister. Muse B managed to sneak into the palace a second time, and rescue Muse A. Now both of them are on the run, trying to form a plan to take Muse A's kingdom back and return it to it's former glory.

The first step is to return Muse A's powers to what they were before, but the dark magic the kingdoms new ruler uses has made light magic all but disappear, and Muse A is unable to do much. However, there are artifacts scattered throughout the kingdom that may still hold power, and so Muse A and B go to track them down and hopefully find support for the revolution they need.

Extra Info
• This is loosely based on The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. What that means is that, yeah, I got the idea from the game, but I'd like this rp to be mostly original. I don't want it to be a LoZ rp. It also means if you don't know the game, that's fine, as the plot is different, and our characters are our own.
• I don't have all the details figured out yet, so we can discuss that.
• I'm totally open to adding doubles.

Also as a side note I'm feeling more creative and will probably think up actually plots to go along with my previous post at some point.
