Adding a short story to Series

Good evening!
Could you give some recommendations on adding a short story that was published on the author's site to the series? If it goes right after the 2d book and before the third one can I give it a #2.5 number?
Will it join the series if I write "Leon's story (Tyrant, 2.5)"?

After creating the book, go to the series page:
https://www.goodreads.com/series/4543...
- click "edit" at the top
- add Leon's story using "add books".
- move it between #2 & #3, number it 2.5
- uncheck the box next to note
- save

I created the book but I don't have the "edit" button on the series page. Can you help?

I also added two other short stories that go right before the first book of the Tyrant series

Only Goodreads librarians have the edit button.
