Please assign this quote to

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

as I did not find the book in the proposed list.

Thank you,
Olea

Actually, there are two author profiles for Ion Barbu.
I'm not familiar with the author. Don't know if there might be two authors with the same name.

ETA: for the correct author, the name has to be added as Ion^^Barbu, where ^ is a space. That is the author profile that is linked to the book.

Catalina | 2066 comments Yes there are 2 different Ion Barbu, but the default profile has editions belonging to the "2 spaces" Ion Barbu. I'll start moving them and ask Olea to double check when I am done.

I think everything's good now, but Olea if you believe I missed anything let us know!

Olea | 199 comments The quote reassignment & separation are OK, thanks!

However I was intrigued by the assignment of

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

to Ion^^Barbu, as "author" and I did some checks.

On this site

http://bibliotecamm.ebibliophil.ro/ca...

in the lower part, tab "Detalii", it is written that Ion Barbu and Romulus Vulpescu are "translators" (kind of... also from other sources I know that the play was transposed into Romanian quite freely), the "author" being William Shakespeare.

I've checked also the publisher's site (*) which is less clear, but coherent with the above information.

(*) http://www.edituraparalela45.ro/carte...

So, I suggest to make the corrections:

William Shakespeare "author"
Ion^^Barbu "translator"
Romulus Vulpescu "translator"

All the best,
Olea

Arenda | 26447 comments #6 Added William Shakespeare. Added translator to both Romanian authors.
I checked Worldcat. They also list Shakespeare as primary author.
