http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASI...

19. A non-YA book. Austenland by Shannon Hale. I own the paperback, kindle and iTunes audio. read and currently rereading ♥♥♥. IMHO Austenland is non-YA because of the adult humor. And the heroine (main character) is 32 years old. There are not any YA that I know of where the main character is in her 30's throughout the entire book. Shannon has written YA books. And some older teen readers (16? to 18 maybe) or who have read and liked Jane Austen books, would like this.
http://www.shelfari.com/books/588166/...

Another YA writer that has written some NON-YA books is J.K. Rowling (or aka Robert Galbraith). She has told everyone that her new works aren't meant for YA eyes (or ears). She even mentioned that her books contain profanity and rape (Casual Vacancy). She's created a pseudonym in hopes (probably IMO) to get readers who like adult mystery/ detective reads. I've started reading a bit of Casual Vacancy and am enjoying it (I don't mind the cussing and such).

Her two Non-YA are...
The Casual Vacancy (own kindle edition)
http://www.shelfari.com/books/2840800...

And... The Cuckoo's Calling (as Robert Galbraith) (also own kindle edition)
http://www.shelfari.com/books/2650334...

One that I definitely don't think is YA - well if I told you, then you'd hunt down the book to read. So I'll just say any erotica book.
