Introduction

I have been unable to locate discussion questions for this book and so we will use our normal approach of setting up discussion topics based around the chapter headings.

You can add your comments and thoughts on the Introduction here.

"While devotions have historically played an important role in Catholic spirituality, they need always to be seen as flowing from (and leading back to) the liturgy - the central form of worship in the church."

It also struck me while reading the introduction that it might be interesting if we share our own experiences, if any, with each of these. Which have "worked" best for you? Which haven't?

This is a very good question and might prove useful as a recommendation for people who would like to re-explore their Faith or those who find this very new.Quite a few work for me so I'll answer as I go along.I would say that Adoration,Lectio Divina and the Rosary are certainly top of my regular list of personal Devotions.Stations of the cross becomes very relevant to our whole church throughout Lent.
