John Dutton (johnbdutton) | 3 comments Hey everyone – I'm the author of the YA urban fantasy sci-fi series the Embodied trilogy and I’d love to have your help deciding what to call the final volume. Books 1 and 2 are titled Silent Symmetry and Starley's Rust, and I’m polling friends and fans to choose one of three options for book 3:

Diamond Spheres

Diamond Splinters

Diamond Scars

If you haven’t read the other books in the trilogy, no problem! I need a title that will appeal to casual browsers in the Amazon store. Yes, I have a personal fave, but I thought it would be fun to collect some other opinions. And as we all know in this social media age, everyone has an opinion.

So please write your choice of title in the thread and earn my eternal gratitude! By all means tell other readers too.

Thanks,

J.B. Dutton

PS – The book is being edited right now and should be out by spring, followed by a single-volume version of the trilogy.

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 31156 comments I haven't read any of the books, but I do have book one on my TBR. I kind of like Diamond Splinters. I think it's a bit more unique than spheres and scars.

John Dutton (johnbdutton) | 3 comments Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for your help in naming the final book in the Embodied trilogy. And the winner was... Diamond Splinters

Diamond Splinters came out on Friday. If you like science fiction with a big dash of urban fantasy, or are a fan of Doctor Who’s blend of soft sci-fi, extra-terrestrial feels and savvy female characters, then I think there’s a good chance you’ll love all the books in the Embodied trilogy.

John (JB Dutton)
