nima (wordswithnima) Hi Geri!

Wow, you're off to a good start! I haven't read any of those books although Persuasion is on my To Read list. Are the others good? Which would you recommend? :)

Good luck with your target!

Geri | 63 comments Thank you, Purnima!

I've enjoyed all of the books so far. I started Persuasion, because I loved Pride and Prejudice and wanted to experience more of Jane Austen's work. The book started off a bit slow and I wasn't sure if I would like it, but I'm glad I didn't give up. If you've read and enjoyed P&P then I'm sure you'll like Persuasion.
Held and Pushed are a duology. Bear in mind they're not for the faint-hearted. They contain kidnapping, rape, beatings, mutilation and all kinds of torture you can imagine. If you can handle these things, then go for it. I personally enjoy dark reads, so I couldn't put them down.
As for Fear Me, this book is about bullying. If you know Bully, then this book is 100x more brutal. The girl is constantly being mistreated and controlled by the guy.
Transcendence is a very beautiful romance. The story is unconventional and we see things from the male's POV. If you want a nontraditional romance that will melt your heart then this is the book for you.
