Feminist, hilarious, relatable. This is an intelligent pop-culture anecdote that will mix in with the more serious (and necessary) books I'm sure we'll read. I highly recommend it.

Excelent! Thank you, Astrid. Can we add books to the document? I would also add Infidel by Ayaan Hirsi Ali. It's more about Islam than feminism, but both definitely interweave and shape Ayaan's life and ideas.

I checked and Ali's Infidel is on the list as well as The Caged Virgin. But feel free to add any other books you can think of :)
