New member here.

I'm looking for books of perhaps a self-help-type (but not limited to) about relationships, how to recover from various heartbreaks and most importantly how to regain hope. Being half-way to Viagra-prescription, I haven't been in a proper stable, loving relationship. Yet, I have quite a few relationships, most of them long-term that slowly killed of my hopes and dreams about a good, steady family life. In times of more loose arrangements being more popular than good ol' monogamy, and "grass is always greener on the other side"-mentality, I've lost all hope and need to somehow work on it and rebuild it.

Any suggestions on what to read next?

Kathy | 1 comments Nothing from the self help aisle. I would read a fun book you can get lost in. I just finished reading the "chronicles of St. Mary's" series by Jodi Taylor. It is romantic without being overly so and it keeps the main protagonist the hero without letting her get bogged down in her man. Good luck.

Karin Honestly, some of the best books I've read that I think would help with this are for couples.

Hidden Keys of a Loving, Lasting Marriage but I think this might be Christian, although I chiefly remember the practical parts of it.
