Runner was dynamically different from Carl's other initial books. Often ridiculous at times, it mixes in a terrorist crime theme which in my opinion is poorly done mainly due to the lack of character building and movement throughout the book. Dueker's heart was in the right place making sure to add in the social themes of the day, but failed to do it in a significant way. In my eye a little young don't waste your time.
