In Mexico growing up we would receive sugar skulls with our names on them for All Souls Day (Día de Muertos) - I always ate mine.
that is entirely possible. Dogs on the other hand would have joined in with the spirit of the occasion
Jim wrote: "Tallis was too busy trying to sort out two large cats and a chariot"Im trying to read while I wipe the sleep from my eyes, and I saw that as two large cats and a clarinet!

Changing the subject slightly, I just read this, and for some reason it reminded me of you.http://www.themichaelpalin.com/rambli...

Tallis created enough buzz to populate a large number of hives! He could solve the bee crisis on his own.

a true yorkshireman wouldn't have bought a new coat!
Ah, but Michael is such an international traveller, that some of the yorkshire corners have been knocked off.

I've been to one auction, when daughter No. 2's Girl Guide coven - or whatever it's called - were raising money for a trip to Japan. You are scared to make any movement in case it is interpreted as a bid.

I used to cause the guides the 'paramilitaries' given that all the female members of my family were involved :-)
The trick with auctions is that you have to catch the auctioneers eye, that's really why you've waving your hand about. Once you've caught his eye then a slight nod is a bid, a slight shake of the head means you're dropping out.
But if you don't catch his eye you can do handstands or anything, you might be kicked out as a nuisance but you'll not end up buying by accident ;-)
I suppose the easiest thing would be to show the auctioneer my empty wallet right at the start to avoid any misunderstanding.
Jim wrote: "absolutely, I regularly get the moths valued, just on the off chance"I am sure they are happy to know that they are valued...
I think a lot of people have put a lot of time and effort into trying to make them scarylook at the Joker
But traditional clown makeup combined a painted on smile with painted on tears

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZaMX0...Just watching this, they were an early boyband! The concept has been refined slightly since then though.
Tallis seems to be more real than you at this point. And there are numerous stories about how that situation can go wrong!
