Gingerlily - The fairy at the bottom of the Christmas tree wrote: "I love this story. It has me giggling maniacally at several points."manic giggling is good :-)
Pretzel pulling used to be very popular!
Although that guy at the back is giving it serious side-eye!
Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) wrote: "The hurdy gurdy as a weapon."banned under a dozen different treaties! :-)
Gingerlily - The fairy at the bottom of the Christmas tree wrote: "Oooh I like the sound of that!"As usual I suspect the composer will lose!
Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) wrote: "The hurdy gurdy as a weapon."Is that worse than the bagpipes?
Apparently the pipes are best played by madmenWhether they were mad before they started spending time too close to active bagpipes without wearing ear defenders is a matter for speculation
Rosemary (grooving with the Picts) wrote: "The bagpipes have a greater range but the hurdy gurdy is better for hand to hand combat"Clearly you are an expert. Do you have any practical experience of musical warfare?
No practical experience, merely a student. I recommend “The Aria of War” by Sun Toots for a good grounding.
I don’t know about bagpipes being played by a madman, but you need to be mad to listen to them close by!
Gingerlily - Weird and Silly wrote: "Sounds like a good time was had by all. Or nearly all..."I mentioned I found the picture when following up one of yours :-)
I know, I can give them up at any time :-)(I think I've seen the ones you've put on twitter, but I only look at twitter when I get notifications, I make a habit of saving all those you put here)
I have started following an account called Peter Paul Rubens, who posts great pictures every day. I could easily send you loads of those, but I try and restrain myself or you will have pictures for the rest of the year :)
Gingerlily - Weird and Silly wrote: "Almost obligatory in Port Naain."I would never travel anywhere without one!
