From the book club description:
''Whenever possible I hope to have the author, or another prominent voice on the subject, join the conversation.''

Let's do that :D

It's Simon again!
So, I'm really enjoying the first month in this book club; I discovered some great books and authors and I'm really looking forward to reach my reading-goal for 2016.
Now, while I was spending time reading your interesting comments on almost all the topics, I was thinking of some ideas to make Our Shared Shelf even more fun. And while I'm not really sure if this is possible to accomplish, I'll just give it a go: why can't we invite some authors of books about feminism and equality, like Gloria Steimen, Sylvia Plath ( just read one of her books, she was an amazing writer by the way), or other good authors you guys know of, and we invite them for a big Q&A?
We could all prepare some questions and then vote for the best ones to ask them.
Imagine how awesome it would be to discover the reasons and stories behind their books!
It's just an idea and it would be really nice if you could tell me your opinions about my proposal so I could maybe work it out a little bit: it has to be organised right?
I'm definitely in because I would love to ask some questions to these authors and I'd also love to hear their experience with feminism! :)
Dont forget to comment and good reading everyone! <3
