Inviting Men to the Discussion

Although I do see a few men on these discussion threads, I think we need to invite more men into this reading group. We need to encourage Emma's HeForShe campaign, while also making it clear that we support men as well. There are many young boys other there who are growing up feeling like they can't partake in activities that are considered "for women only". Book clubs, perhaps, being one of them!

I think that's a real shortcoming of this group. We really need to invite men into this discussion. They have great ideas! Think of all the ideas the world is short of because men don't involve women. Now think that this group is probably missing all of THEIR great ideas!

I think the group should make an effort to HIGHLIGHT that men are part of this to encourage more to join. Maybe a discussion group focussing on what they think. Are the books appealing to them? If not, why? How can we better engage them? Let the men speak for men!
