Brandon Hodge | 5 comments Hey there! This is Brandon Hodge, author of The House on Hook Street from Paizo Publishing. The author on this book page is incorrect. It has happened before, as there's another Brandon Hodge who published a single chapbook of poetry, and for whatever reason Goodreads tend to assign my new works to him rather than to be. Can you please edit The House on Hook Street and assign it to me? Thanks! --Brandon

Renske | 12414 comments Moved the book to your profile.
Imports add your books to his profile because due to the way we separate authors with the same name his profile is the default profile for your name.

Brandon Hodge | 5 comments Thanks, Renske! I wish there was a way to change the default author in the system. I'm a prolific author currently producing work, and the default author only produced a single work 6 years ago. As a result I usually have to step in and reassign things when I have a new release. THANKS for your help!!! =-)

Renske | 12414 comments Sometimes authors are switched, but as the other author is also a Goodreads author, I don't know if the staff wants to do that in this case.

Brandon Hodge | 5 comments I understand. Would be great if the default was the actively-producing (or even the active-in-the-goodreads-community) author. I've never seen him take steps to have mis-assigned works moved to me. But thanks to you folks for at least considering the change!

It is not something GR Librarians can do. You might try to contact Goodreads Support to ask: https://www.goodreads.com/about/conta...
