Hello all. So when I learned about the TNT Drama based on this book written by Blake Crouch, I went to buy the book and saw that it was out of print. It seems most people have noticed this since practically everyone has it on their marked to read list. The book is literally impossible to find. The copies that are for sale go for around $500. Yeah...not worth it. So, I did some research to find out how I could read these 3 novellas. It took a lot of digging (Blake Crouch's website is outdated and contains INCORRECT information so that wasn't a source of help other than learning the three titles of his Letty Dobesh stories) and I finally have three definite sources on how to read this book. The first story, The Pain of Others, can be found in a book called Fully Loaded Thrillers by Blake Crouch. The book contains a number of short thrillers by Blake Crouch and The Pain of Others is the final story. You can buy this book an Amazon. The second story, Sunset Key, is sold as it's own separate book. This can also be found on Amazon. The final story, Grab, is the story that gave me the most trouble. According to Crouch's website this book is available in ebook/epub format but when you do a Google search or click the link provided, you get a page that says unavailable. It is as if this product never existed which is always frustrating. What is even more frustrating is that this story is not included in any short story collections nor is it published as it's own book. This is where I did my real digging. As far as I looked, there is absolutely no place to purchase this book. Luckily, I found a website that had the ebook available to read right there. It is a safe site. Here is the URL: http://www.general-ebooks.com/read/90... Perhaps when the TV show premieres it will put these novellas into demand and Confidence Girl will be sent to the printers once again. But until then, this is how you can get a hold of the book unconventionally. I wanted to make this discussion in hopes to help others who struggle as I did to read this collection. Enjoy. :)
7 years later and these books are still impossible to find and apparently out of print! something strange going on with licensing because I have good behavior on audible but it doesn't show up in any audible search and I can't even find it in my own library unless I manually go through it sorted by author to find this title. which is ridiculous!! The three original wayward pines books are also in limbo and I can only get them out by doing the same manual perusal they don't show up in any search and there's some new version of these coming out. I am irritated with this stupid BS. I sent Blake an email requesting information.
