So far, I'm enjoying it a lot better than the first time around, and I think this is about the part I kind of stopped reading. I think I have a better grasp of what's going on, and I know who's who better, although I still don't feel really anything towards any of the characters. So, I guess I'm interested, but not really invested.

Same here. I just don't have a real connection with any of them. I am hoping that changes the further I get into the book.

thoughts while reading:
I think it's kind of funny that Robert doesn't like his wife and Ned isn't shy in agreeing with him about her.
I think Robert would have been better off being like a knight or something versus being the king.
Is Wylla really Jon's mom? Ned certainly doesn't like talking about her so it's possible.
Jorah is spying on Dany!
Wow, Robert REALLY does not like the Targaryens! and really loved Ned's sister!
Ned is suspicious in general and especially so of the Lannisters.
