I read Dark Places for the NYT Best Seller prompt.
I read Dark Places for the NYT Best Seller prompt. I'm also doing the Book Riot Read Harder Challenge and I'm trying to swing books that fit both challenges. Dark Places satisfies the prompt "Read a book that was adapted into a movie, then watch the movie. Debate which is better."
I don't have anything quiiite yet because I had to finish reading A Storm of Swords, and I technically started that one in 2015. I'm reading Heir to the Empire right now, which is either my sci fi novel or my blue cover.

 . Last week I read
which is a non-fiction book (that I bought my 6 year old for Christmas) I put under the "guaranteed to bring you joy" prompt. It's a wonderful book about childhood, and the outside and has me with quite a project list to do.

     Hi all,
Hi all, I finished Chelsea Handler's 'my horizontal life' for book by a comedian. Shame it wasn't fun. Only 1 star and that generous. ⭐️
Now reading 'The fishermen' by Chigozie Obioma, for book on another culture. Very interesting so far.

I have read "I Take You" by Eliza Kennedy which was okay - not my favorite but a decent quick read for the Book Becoming a Movie category. I have read "The Girl in the Spider's Web" by David Lagercrantz for the NY Times Bestseller Category. And I read "Ashley Bell" by Dean Koontz for a Book Recommended by a Family Member. My mom raved about it but I wondered just what exactly happened by the end of the 560 page story! I've been crazy reading since January 1st. I still have a life though! LOL

I read spool of blue thread by Anne Taylor but not sure which prompt it fits if any. Might have to cheat and substitute A book in Oprah' book club to a book from Richard and Judi's book club. Unless anyone has any suggestions for another prompt it might fit .

That should work for a blue book cover. I have not read the book so not sure which other ones it would work for.

I did that once last year. I knew the books were bad, but I had to find out what happened. I actually paid for future books when the series pretty much sucked.
