Who's up for a Challenge?

Rusalka is going to be away for most of March, which is her month to create a challenge.

We've decided to offer someone a chance to design and administer the March challenge.

Please submit your proposals to me by private message. The moderators will decide who will be presenting his/her challenge in March.

Winner will be announced Feb 15th.

Just submit your synopsis. Explain what your idea is, how it would work, give examples. If your idea is chosen, then you can flesh out all the details like points (if you want them), guidelines, etc.

I don't actually know how to create a badge... you are all more tech savvy than I am.

We should make you post the badges to get a real feel of what it's like. We've got it down to a fine art and will post them for you. Don't let the badges throw you off and stop you from submitting an idea.

If you want, you can create and post the badges. Or, you can email me with a badge, a gif, or an idea and I can take it from there. Or, you can leave it entirely to me. Your choice.

I should mention that we'll announce the winner Feb 15th so that the challenge can be uploaded to the group about a week later. That will give you lots of time to come up with ideas. Already, the mods are going to have a hard time deciding.

funny... I am trying to come up with something and it just does not happen. It seems my potted plant has more imagination than I these days. The only easy part for me would be the badges. So I offer my service for the badge part if needed.

I am the same Esther, I have been trying to come up with something fun and creative but it's not working! I will keep persevering, just in case I have a 'Eureka!' moment at some point! :)

I'm just glad I don't have to think up a challenge every other month. Although I didn't thino them all the way through but I had a glimpse on an idea for 3-4 more challenges suprising myself even.

No, Feb 15th is not a typo. That gives time for those Eureka moments. I've got to come up with February's challenge in a week or so... much less time for an "ah-ha" moment.

We've received quite a few proposals and things have been quiet for the last little while so we decided to make Jan 31st the deadline for submitting suggestions.

That way, we'll have time to go through them all and narrow our selection down to one. We'll still announce the winning proposal on Feb 15th.

We received some really great submissions for our little challenge contest which made the moderators' job of selecting one very difficult. Thanks to everyone who submitted ideas. Don't be surprised if you see upcoming challenges and/or topplers with your themes. Of course, we will give you a shout-out for the idea.

The submission that we selected for March is Peggy's. She will post her challenge shortly and I think everyone will really like her idea.
