1. So now we find out the Bloody Mummers cut off Jaime’s right hand. I’ve heard of phantom pain before but I can’t imagine how horrible and unsanitary it must be for him. He’s lucky he didn’t die of infection. And all the mummers can do is laugh at Jaime, who is reduced to crying because it hurts so much. I like how he now knows how Tyrion feels whenever people laugh at him. They even tied it around his neck. Gross.
2. They mock Jaime and Brienne, calling them lovers. They make him drink horse piss and have Brienne clean up his vomit and bowels. Lovely. She’s got to be feeling bad for him, even if he is the kingslayer, that is just cruel and unusual punishment. She begs him to fight to live. Don’t die; don’t be a craven. The word mulls over in Jaime’s mind. He wonders if all he ever was was a sword-hand and nothing more. Jaime wants to live, for his family if nothing else. Interesting it says Tyrion loved him for a lie. *SPOILER FOR UPCOMING CHAPTERS IN A STORM OF SWORDS* (view spoiler) He vows he will recover and take revenge. A Lannister always pays his debts.
3. Jaime feels he is nothing without his sword-hand. He was never any good with his left hand. Well, it’s the only hand he has left now. He laughs when he realizes they’re going to Harrenhal, the place they made him a member of the kingsguard. How ironic. One of the mummers whips him in the face for laughing, wtf dude. I forgot Aerys never let Jaime joust in the tourney; he was only 15 at the time, and he sent him away. I forgot why.
4. I guess they don’t care after all if Brienne is spoiled. They want to rape her anyway. Jaime tells her to go to her happy place when they do it but Brienne says they’ll get no pleasure from her, looking resolved. Jaime thinks she’s a brave, stupid bitch. Instead, he makes a scene and Rorge kicks him in the stump, making him faint. When he wakes up Vargo Hoat tells them not to harm her. That’s good. At least Vargo believes the sapphire story. Later Brienne thanks him. :) He says he owed her for what she did on the river with the boulders. I think their relationship is taking a turn for the better!
5. They parade Jaime and Brienne inside Harrenhal by making them walk the last mile. I like that he fuels his rage by telling himself he’s a Lannister and will pay this debt back with interest, lol. Jaime doesn’t know a whole lot about the Boltons except they are northmen who flay their enemies. Interesting he promises himself he will not die before Cersei. *SPECULATION ON JAIME AND CERSEI* (view spoiler)
6. So this is where all the Freys went after they abandoned Riverrun. I keep forgetting Jaime is related to some of them through marriage. Jaime says Urswyck stole Ser Cleos Frey’s goods and left him for the wolves, even though that’s exactly what he would have done had the Bloody Mummers not shown up when they did, and Brienne begs them to listen to her. The Freys state they are here because the Young Wolf betrayed them. Jaime thinks things just got interesting, lol. She explains what Lady Catelyn did and why. Some Freys want to ransom Jaime for themselves, others want to kill him, when Roose steps in. He is so calm and soft-spoken it scares Jaime more than Vargo Hoat’s threats. Right immediately he doesn’t like this guy. Bolton flings his hand on the ground and tells them to take it away; it offends him. What a thing to say in that situation!
7. Urg, Vargo wants to ransom him for 100,000 gold dragons from Tywin and instead give him to Lord Karstark so he can have his daughter. His goonies laugh but Bolton informs them that Robb killed Lord Rickard Karstark for treason so his daughter is off limits. He also informs them that Joffrey will soon wed the daughter of Highgarden, no longer Winterfell. Lol, Bolton insinuates he knows Joff is Jaime’s get.
8. Right now Bolton is coming across as their savior. He says he’s displeased they tried to rape Brienne and for what they did to Jaime’s sword-hand. Brienne is taken for a bath and some new clothes, without weapons, while Jaime is taken to the maester to see to his injuries. I get a bad feeling about Brienne being without any weapons.
9. Here we meet Qyburn, a “fatherly” man. He wants to cut Jaime’s whole arm off just in case the infection spread but Jaime makes him clean the wound and let him take his chances. He also doesn’t want to be sleeping during this for fear he’ll wake up without an arm; he’d rather go through terrible pain. Uck, the stench must be horrible. The pain is so bad he passes out, so it really didn’t matter about the milk of the poppy anyway.
10. When he wakes he sees Qyburn did a good job mending it. He says Vargo Hoat’s always cutting off limbs so he has plenty experience, gods. Jaime thinks Qyburn doesn’t look like a monster and asks why he helps the Brave Companions. Qyburn explains he was excommunicated from the Citadel; they removed him from his maester duties, so he serves here instead, people who will let him continue his services even without his chain.
11. It is very interesting how Jaime has seen the dream of wildfire before when Qyburn explains the Imp set the Blackwater on fire. I wonder if he gets any prophetic dreams about this. Cersei is frequently associated with the color green and of wildfire.
12. I really like how Jaime tells Qyburn to see to Brienne’s injuries as well, and that she is his protector. :) He keeps helping her when he doesn’t need to.
13. There is something creepy about Bolton and his leeches. It’s a popular medieval medical treatment procedure, but for him it’s an obsession.

About your point 2 *SPOILER FOR UPCOMING CHAPTERS IN A STORM OF SWORDS* (view spoiler)
*SPECULATION ON JAIME AND CERSEI* (view spoiler)
About your point 13, I think it's creepy and weird, I don't know how often he has leeches on his body and I don't know what he is trying to do with his blood though. Does he want to clean it? So much leeching, and it sound so gross!
2-They tied Jaime to Brienne to keep him from falling, and even once they tied them facing each other and call them lovers. They want to laugh as much as they can it seems. Urswyck hanged Jaime’s hand from a cord, so besides dealing with the pain, he had to smell his hand rooting, which I bet it was not nice at all. I never liked the Mummers, but I hate them so much in this chapter.
3-His stump was basically blood and pus. Jaime couldn’t eat, but he could drink wine and water when they gave him so. Once they gave him horse piss, and I can’t imagine how thirsty he was, he swallowed his price and drank it. Then he threw up, and Brienne had to clean him up, like she did when he soiled himself while they ride.
4-Jaime tried to fight Shagwell once, and of course they laughed. He didn’t mean to give them a show, but he did. I liked he wasn’t afraid they kill him as long as he had a sword in his hand. It was all he was after all, and he didn’t fully understand yet what he lost.
5-Vargo told him it was fun, but he’ll cut his other hand or a foot if he does it again. He has an obsession to cut parts of the body. Jaime was looking at the stars, and when Brienne asked him what he was doing and he replied dying, she told him to live. He didn’t see the point though, but when she called him craven he reacted. He was no craven, no one has ever said that of him. Brienne told him to live and take revenge. I forgot she was the one who kept him alive. Jaime wonders if he was just his sword hand, and I believe it was a huge part of him, and maybe he thought it was all he was. But he then remembers Cersei who needs him, Tyrion who only loves him because of a lie (I don’t think I picked this up the first time) and all his enemies, who were waiting for him. So the next morning Jaime ate, and so did the next. He was thinking of getting a golden hand and then rip Vargo Hoat’s throat, which wouldn’t be terrible. I hate the man.
6-Jaime slept in the saddle and lay awake at night, and they tied him to a tree every night, which made him feel they still feared them, even if he was so weak he could barely move. Brienne was tied next to him, and he thought she had her walls, and when they rape her she wouldn’t let them in. He had his walls once, but he lost them when he lost his sword hand. I don’t think it would have had the same effect on him and his personality if they cut his left hand.
7-Jaime laughed when they mentioned they were going to Harrenhal. He got his white cloak there, and Aerys didn’t let him joust. He thinks he would have won that, and he might have. Shagwell, Rorge and Zollo, the man who cut his hand, finally showed up to rape Brienne. It’s disgusting how they start talking who’ll go first, and how they finally decide both Rorge and Zollo would do it at the same time. Jaime thought they would cripple her inside, where it doesn’t show, and it’s true. He told Brienne to go far away and let them have her body, he went away when Aerys kill the Starks. I love how Jaime shouted “sapphires” to stop them for raping her. He didn’t have to do it, but I think this shows he is not as bad as everyone thinks, and he cared for her. Rorge kicked his stump, which is absolutely cruel and Jaime passed out for the pain. But it worked, Vargo showed up and told them not to rape her, she was worth a bad of sapphires; he ended up putting guards.
8-Brienne waited two days to thank him, and I think the way he reacted was as expected. He was a little cruel to her, but I don’t think he is used to it, although he finally accepted them and told her he payed his debt, for the river. But I think he did it truly because he cared about her and didn’t want them to rape her, although I don’t think he would have said it out loud.
9-The Goat made them stumbled along for a while when they were getting close to Harrenhal, he wanted to put up a show, ugh. Rage kept Jaime going, while he thought he would pay them with interests. Brienne was optimistic, she saw the Bolton’s banner but Jaime said they skin people. He won’t die there, he’ll die with Cersei, and I’ve read a few theories about them. They see the Stark’s banner, and heads on the side, which is not a good sign and I think Jaime is starting to realise where Bolton stands.
10-Some Freys were there, and when Brienne told them she serves the Starks, the Freys spat, showing what they thought of them. Bolton, being creepy as fuck like usual, talks really low, and says Jaime won’t die. He orders Jaime’s hand to be taken away because it offends him. Brienne and Jaime find out Karstark is dead, Joffrey will marry Margaery, and Cersei, Joffrey and Tyrion are fine. Bolton knows Joffrey is Jaime’s son, I forgot that. Lord Bolton is displeased about Brienne’s attempt of rape, and Jaime’s hand. I would shit my pants if I was Vargo to be honest. Bolton is so damn scary.
11-Jaime is sent to Qyburn, a master whose chain was taken by the Citadel. He told Jaime his wound was infected, and he should cut the entire arm. Jaime replied he’ll kill him if he does so. Therefore Qyburn says he’ll cut the rotten flesh and then cleanse it with boiling wine, and offers Jaime milk of the poppy. He refuses, afraid he might cut his arm. Jaime suffered quite a lot, but it’s good someone took care of that. He noticed that wasn’t the first time Qyburn did so, and he said he was used to because Vargo made stumps everywhere he went. Qyburn then took care of his eye, and told him about the battle. Jaime tells him to go see Brienne, his protector, lol. Qyburn told him he would leech his eye later, Bolton had many leeches. I think, after all, it was good in a way Jaime lost his hand, you can tell at this point he is not being the asshole he used to be, and it’s showing a better side of him.
