Jack grunted as she dodged the knives, grabbing two by the handles and throwing one back, teleporting behind him and throwing the other.

Sage tensed, taking his fire form, so that the knives passed through him. Then he solidified again and swept his legs under hers, knocking her to the ground. He pinned her there, sort of, with a couple of blades.

She blinked up at him. She wasn't about to start begging for him to spare her life. Nor did she care that her mask had become a bit frazzled again revealing her eyes. Which were still blank.

Sage blinked, startled to see Jack's face again. Or at least part of her face. He stared. Not sure what to do because even if she was somewhat insane, it was easier thinking she was a guy with the mask on than with it off (even if it was partially) where it was obvious that she was nothing but a girl, blank looking eyes or not. He just couldn't fit girls half as well as he could fight a guy...........this was not good.

She scoffed and swallowed, furrowing her eyebrows lightly. "A-Are you going to kill me or not" she whispered in her small voice.

Sage blinked at the sound of her velvety quiet voice. He cleared his throat, and pulled back. "Uh...I don't exactly kill...but if you stay still and don't move, I won't have to try and stop you again, even though you're on my own team........"

She scooted back, taking her mask off and pulling her hood down to put it back on, scooting back tensely.

Sage deflamed, and sat, crossing his legs. He pulled the wing that he'd hurriedly mended earlier, and checked it. It had healed alright so he turned back to Jack. Sighing, and still completely unsettled with the idea that he was a she, said, "You're a girl..."

She nodded as she tucked her hair into her hood without much emotion.

Sage nodded, feeling excessively awkward, he couldn't believe he'd punched this girl up as much as he'd done. "I see," he said, watching her tuck her hair back into her hood. "Sorry..."

"Don't say sorry. I started it" she whispered as she fixed the sleeves of her hood.

Sage watched her hands...delicate hands he hadn't noticed before, fix her sleeves. He nodded again, feeling really embarrassed, what would his mother say if she saw him do what he just did? She'd smack him one upside the head, and then smack him again for the sake of reminding him. "But I followed through...with the punching and the knives and the kicking..." he trailed off.

Luke made the first moove. In seconds he apeared behind Death and stabbed him with his black blade .

She stood up and dusted herself off, "I-It was nothing... my only intention was to stop you from hurting them. Being that they're reapers and if you did that then the reaper king would come after you and most likely kill you." she whispered.

Kid smirked as that body became dust and he appeared a few meters away, "You can't look away. Don't even blink." his voice trailed through the air.

Sage looked at her, and blinked, he could feel the heat creeping up to his cheeks, it was worse than his flame on mode ((somehow I feel like that's related to falcon punch...or something...)) and he kind of spluttered...because well, hearing that cute voice say those words, made this level headed guy become a complete mess.

He peeked at her, somewhat glad she had her mask on, because without it, she was, as he noticed before, very pretty. "I can't believe you fought me to save me," he said rubbing his hands over his face. "Did I hurt you badly?" He reached out to her.

She shook her head, "You're a good fighter... But I'll be fine" she replied.

Sage stood, he somewhat towered over her. Being so small though, and still able to somewhat beat the shit out of him, made her pretty cool. "You too," he said, looking down at her, "...beat the shit out of me, oh shot, sorry about my language." He looked away. What was this feeling blooming in him???

"I'm from England.. I've heard worse" she replied as she glanced up at him, "And I was only stalling. If I had really been fighting I wouldn't have done so well. In fact I use teleportation to mainly block." she murmured.

Sage smiled, he had gathered as much. But it had frustrated him too. "Thanks for saving me though. I appreciate it very much," he said, tempted to take her hand and kiss it, because that was what gentleman did right? Or was that wrong...Sage didn't know.

She nodded and stuffed her knives in her back pocket, holding out her hand, "... Jace" she whispered.

Luke raised a brow "I'd have done that without you saying it." he ran towards him and threw a dagger at his abdomen.

Kid had his arms outstretched, "Come on..." he trailed as the shadow dissapeared.

Sage took her hand, and shook it (because that what you did right?) but he was reluctant to let it go, he blinked, "Jace..." he murmured, it seemed to fit her...really really well, "I like it...Sage Jaguar but I think you already knew."

"Thats interesting. A fallen with the surname Jaguar. And the powers of fire and the swiftness of a phoenix. Peculiar but curious" she whispered.

Sage blinked, and rubbed the back of his neck, "wow how did you know all that..." he wondered how she had known. "Don't judge me," he said, his old fears rising. They just didn't seem to die, even though he was his own person now. He knew what being a fallen meant in this crazy world of angels and demons.

"I'm not." she whispered, "That'd be kind of hypocritical of myself." she replied.

Feeling he tucked his hands in his pockets and looked at her, he imagined her expression under the mask...as though he could actually see it - what was this feeling he wondered. "Yourself?" he asked, frowning.

Luke snorted "Is all you can do is doge?" He remarked. Luke created shadowy warriors from within the shadows, ready to attack on Luke's command

She nodded faintly. Non of the other angels had really accepted her. Though she hated being a sap she knew she'd need somewhere to go. So she joined Luke. But she really didn't need him anymore.

Kid sighed and blew a wavelength at them, tearing them apart easily due to vibrations. "I block because I have no intention of killing you. And being that my cannon will easily destroy you with one hit.." he didn't finish.

"Can I ask...?" He asked hesitantly. Knowing that maybe she wouldn't want to talk about her past, the way Sage, more often than not preferred to avoid the subject.

"I'm.. not exactly liked by my kind." she whispered.

Not unlike him... he supposed. He frowned, "are you fallen too?" He couldn't tell with her aura.

"Huh," he said, somewhat afraid to ask more. He sat again, because he felt like he was being intimidating towering over her. He gestured for her to sit. "Which is your kind then?" He looked up, eyes closed to soak up the sun.

"Pfft, it's people like you who i hate the most. Arrogant. Let me see you try!" The challenge rang clear in his mencaing voice. Then a thought struck him. His arrogance came from those cursed guns right? A cruel grin came to Luke's Face, the first emotion he had shown that night save for annoyiance. He dissapeared into the realm of the shadows.

She looked away, "It's supposed to be a secret.." she whispered. She didn't have her pen and notepad he had turned it into ash a while back.

Kid sighed and cracked his knuckles softly. The funny thing was that he wasn't even in the shadows realms. In fact he was in the human realm. And one could not take his scythes away. They were apart of him. He could simply teleport them back to himself.

"C-can I know this secret?" Sage cleared his voice. He felt a little awkward because even if girls were attracted to him, he didn't find any of them interestin, just annoying like that demon earlier. And usually he was just harsh and rude to them. But Jace, made him want to know more.

She glanced over and sighed. She bit her lip, "I'm an angel" she whispered.

Yet, Luke was indeed in the shadow realm. It was a realm of shadows and darkness. The only way of the realm was by the gateways that were created by light. Time flowed into itself, meaning what felt like a minute could be in fact an hour. If you stayed too long in the relam of the shadows you became part of the shadows forever since you have to change your form to that of a shadow's in order to enter the shadow realm. In this manner Luke teleporrted. He 'teleported' or walked through the shadows to be more accurate to his shop and re-entered to realm of light through the meager gateway left by the flickering lightbulb that hang from his shop's roof. From his shelf of weapons he chose one of the scythes. These were true scythes, taken from dead reapers. .
His plan had not been to take the kid's scythe but to counter it with his own. In an instant Luke re-apeared in front of Kid, brandishing the scythe.

(a scythe is linked to the specific Reaper so that only they are able to use it so that it would become useless in an enemy's hand but if this was a Mortal Scythe that has been spelled with angel/demon runes it would be a different story.)
