Ashley | 4 comments My Kobo rereader stopped working so I bought a Nook online, and since my Kobo stopped working I can't hook it up to the computer to transfer my ebooks to my nook now. How do I transfer my ebooks to my nook now? do I have to buy them again?

Bonnie | 66 comments Who did you buy the ebooks from? I'm not familiar with Kobo or their ebook system, but I know amazon and nook both save your purchases on your account. So all you have to do with them is log onto your account and go to My Account, then My Content. You'll have the option to deliver your books to one of your devices. I dont know if this will help you any or not, but congratulations on your nook! If your experience is anything like mine with nook, you're going to love it!

Jeanine (jjelizalde) You can side load them to your Nook from your computer since Nook can read Kobo, PDF and other formats.

Kobo was a Borders product, when Borders was still around. Oh wow thank you, I didn't know, I'm trying it now, I'm so relived that I don't have to buy all the books I have again :) Hopefully they all work.

How do you do that?

Bonnie | 66 comments Oh I loved Borders! Then they took it out...it was the only one in the area too:( but I didn't know much about eReaders when it was in business here...
Hope it's working out for you!

In order to sideload your books you need to download them from the Kobo website to your computer. If the books have DRM, which probably most of them do, you will need to get the program Adobe Digital Editions.

Once you have it, and your books downloaded, sideloading using ADE is pretty simple.
