message 11: by Erin (new)

Erin I"m sure she will at some point, but writing a book is a huge project and writing an autobiography/memoir can be emotionally draining as well as a huge project.

message 12: by Zina (new)

Zina (zzzina) I'd definitely read it, were she to write a one! :D

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm pretty sure she'll write one when the time is right. There's still a lot to learn! (;

message 19: by Kevin (last edited Jan 08, 2016 02:03PM) (new)

Kevin | 14 comments Emma has mentioned in in quite a few interviews that she was interested in writing a book, among other things, so it wouldn't surprise me if she eventually does in the future. :)

message 20: by Homid (new)

Homid T. (homidjohn) | 3 comments I don't think we should be expecting a book from her because I'm sure she would pull a Robert Galbraith on us.

message 21: by Takashi (new)

Takashi Yuasa (takashiyuasainternationallawyer) | 102 comments Yes! It’s a splendid idea, because Emma is an unbelievably awesome writer & communicator!
By the way, while reading awesome Ms. Elizabeth Nyamayaro’s Twitter Page https://twitter.com/e_nyamayaro
I noticed Emma Interview Youtube dated Jan 15 ,2016 in Elizabeth’s page!!!
It’s entitled: Emma Watson Introduces the new HeForShe.org at Youtube. In it Emma also talked about Our Shared Shelf so beautifully! Wow!!
Emma delivers her awesome messages perfectly to all the world!
MUST WATCH Incredibly Awesome Emma Interview:

message 22: by Takashi (new)

Takashi Yuasa (takashiyuasainternationallawyer) | 102 comments Since Emma is incredibly talented in writing as well, it struck me that Emma would find such idea very interesting that Emma find/select/hire “a writing coach regarding nonfiction writings”, independently of Emma’s future book projects.
In other words, Emma will brush up her own writing genius by learning tons of “nonfiction writing skills” from such writing coach(es)/teacher(s). Based on certain teaching material, she can learn from said coaches via exchange of E-mails & WORDs like three times per month. Emma must have feminist friends, her former teachers/professors, UN-related or other friends to introduce such writing coaches. Such learning/studying efforts & experiences will help her awesomely, brilliantly & tremendously throughout Emma's life; therefore, it’s time & cost efficient, too! (My 4th comment)(2/2) Thanks for reading!

I agree. Emma is still young and I'd like to believe that she has yet to achieve her full height. Napoleon did not stop to boast after winning his first battle.

message 24: by Simon (last edited Jan 23, 2016 06:04AM) (new)

Simon Kuhn | 223 comments I'm pretty sure something like that will happen in the next few years, but I dont see it happening right now. She's busy with all kinds of other projects at the moment and writing is a bit hard to combine these things right now. (Thats what I think, who knows, maybe she is already writing a book :o )

-Simon <3

message 25: by Jing Wen (new)

Jing Wen (v3lcr0w) | 173 comments Yeah. The Fellowship is awesome and all. But I'll rather read it together with Two Towers and The Return Of The King if you get what I mean ;)

message 26: by Lea (new)

Lea | 3 comments If she'd write a book and publishes it I'd definitely read it! *-*

message 27: by Wayne-Daniel (new)

Wayne-Daniel Berard | 1 comments I would use it in my classes!

Yup. The book actually came in 6 parts. But they shorten it to 3 movies.

message 30: by Janos (new)

Janos | 34 comments And again we are expecting something from someone, but actually we shouldn't do so. I mean of course we are looking forward should she announce something along these lines, but we shouldn't put more pressure on her because it´s very rude to do so. She is doing a great job in her work as UN-Ambassador.The day has even only 24 hours.

message 31: by Takashi (new)

Takashi Yuasa (takashiyuasainternationallawyer) | 102 comments I also CLEARLY remember, just before Emma was starting incredibly wonderful Our Shared Shelf, that on the Net, she had stated something like: This is only the beginning.
At that time it struck me that Emma’s so thoughtful that Emma might think of various things in short-, middle- & long-term alongside with this project.
If and when Emma authors her own book, it’s going to be surely awesome, too!! From all perspectives, Our Shared Shelf is truly Awesome!! (My 5th Comment)

message 32: by Takashi (new)

Takashi Yuasa (takashiyuasainternationallawyer) | 102 comments Allow me to express my personal opinion... Suppose Emma's authored book be published in spring 2017, I would like her book to include Emma's interviewing with new US President. Also I definitely want Emma to talk about HeForShe and UN-related matters. Of course, Our Shared Shelf, Davos business leader interviews to be included. Since President Obama also said: Lifting women up lifts up our economy... it makes perfect sense for Emma & Emma's UN friends to find prof. of economics & others to support Pr. Obama's above saying. See Emma's & Pr. Obama's statements, e.g., at:
http://theinspirationroom.com/daily/2...
(My 6th Comment)

message 33: by Takashi (new)

Takashi Yuasa (takashiyuasainternationallawyer) | 102 comments Again, suppose Emma author her own book, one of her book's chapters could discuss numerous country by country analyses. For example, OECD publishes numerous Gender Inequality related employment reports for long years.
As far as Emma's book is concerned, I would like its country by country analyses to be neither too complicated nor too comprehensive. In my personal judgment OECD has been doing a very great job, but not a perfect one yet.
I believe, perfectly honest, that from now on, Emma can do what no one else can do. (My 9th Comment) Thanks for reading!!

message 34: by Takashi (new)

Takashi Yuasa (takashiyuasainternationallawyer) | 102 comments It struck me that there could be an issue whether Emma should write a nonfiction or fiction book. In conclusion, my opinion is that Emma should write a nonfiction book. Of course, Emma is super-genius in each and every field. So, I very much look forward to Emma's writing fictions, i.e., novels as well. At the same time, all of Emma's fans and all of their children/grandchildren would love to read Emma's novels even after 10 or 20 years later from now. On the other hand, in general, nonfiction books need great timing!! Therefore, at this moment Emma should focus on nonfiction Book writing rather than fictions. (My 10th Comment)(cont'd)

message 35: by Takashi (new)

Takashi Yuasa (takashiyuasainternationallawyer) | 102 comments As I above mentioned, a nonfiction book needs to reflect the most updated era, which is what I define by "great timing". Therefore, I find it vitally important for Emma's nonfiction Book to include Emma's interviewing with New US President in it.
In other words, should such book is scheduled to publish in Oct. 2016 or so, such publication date should be postponed until Emma's interviewing with New US President is certainly included in Emma's said Book. (My 11th Comment)(To be cont'd)

message 36: by Takashi (new)

Takashi Yuasa (takashiyuasainternationallawyer) | 102 comments In general, Emma might possibly find it tougher to write a nonfiction book as opposed to a novel. But allow me to remind all of Emma's wonderful fans that Emma can get kindest help from awesome UN friends during Emma's nonfiction writing. I think this is the best timing for Emma to ask UN friends to help Emma's efforts to complete Emma's said nonfiction Book on Gender Equality, including awesome HeForShe activities. I am 120% sure all UN friends will extremely happily provide a variety of invaluable help to Emma!! At the same time, I am 120% sure that New US President would love to be interviewed by Emma!! Who will be New US President does not matter at all. Should New President not be a feminist, such New US President still would love to be interviewed by Emma. Then, Emma would have an opportunity to strongly encourage New US President to be a Feminist!!Of course , if and when New US President elected on Nov. 8, 2016 is a feminist, New US President would love to be interviewed by Emma!! Therefore, in conclusion, Emma's nonfiction Book on Gender Equality should definitely include Emma's interviewing with New US President in it!! (My 12th Comment) (Other discussions on Emma's book will be added 1:30 - 4:00PM on Feb 2nd at Tokyo time.) Thanks for reading!!

See, Emma? You don't even need to think. We do it for you!

message 38: by Agustin (new)

Agustin | 223 comments Well, first, she has to have talent in order to write a book, doesn't she?

Time will tell about Emma's life projects, as it should, don't you think so? :) In the end, aren't we all the same? Always wondering what future will bring us. It's best if we look at it that way. :)

message 40: by Jana Alcón (new)

Jana Alcón (jaanaalcon) Yes, yes, yes! She definitely has to write a book! She has the ability to do it, she show it us everyday! I think one day she will and it will be feminist and realist!
I support you Emma! :)

message 41: by Allan (new)

Allan Roberto | 20 comments Yes! That's a good and interesting idea
One book: like her biography or another type of book!

message 42: by Takashi (new)

Takashi Yuasa (takashiyuasainternationallawyer) | 102 comments Let me start from the beginning...
Firstly,
Of course, Emma’s Book must always contain Emma’s Copyright Notice!!
“Copyright © All Rights Reserved by Emma Watson 2016”
“Copyright © All Rights Reserved by Emma Watson 2017” …
International/global publication still requires Emma's Copyright Notice!!
(My 13th Comment)(Cont’d)

message 43: by Takashi (new)

Takashi Yuasa (takashiyuasainternationallawyer) | 102 comments Strictly for the sake of awesome Feminist Emma & awesome Emma's Book only, allow me to make suggestions including: The concept of Emma's nonfiction book is Emma’s Gender Equality, of which the core concept basically would include:
(1) Feminist Emma & Interviewer Emma (At least a half or more of this Emma’s Book can consist of Emma’s interviewing content). (2)Goodwill Ambassador for UN Women Emma,& HeForShe Emma, including Our Shared Shelf Emma (Feminist Book Club Emma)(3)Emma who is internationally encouraging our Planet’s countries to achieve Gender Equality competitively for their own sake, including Emma's reference to country by country statistics in this regard.(My 14th Comment)(To be cont'd)

message 44: by Takashi (new)

Takashi Yuasa (takashiyuasainternationallawyer) | 102 comments Emma’s interviewings and Emma’s opinions can be in the same pages & chapters, depending on the content or context.
Interviewing content can be dialogue-style or quote-style, depending on the content.
(My 15th Comment)(To be cont'd)

message 45: by Takashi (new)

Takashi Yuasa (takashiyuasainternationallawyer) | 102 comments As I had already mentioned, Emma’s interviewing with New US President is vitally IMPORTANT!! Also, definitely Emma should interview UN officials & UN friends on HeForShe and Gender Equality issues in relation to Emma’s Book!! Also, it makes perfect sense for Emma to again interview those awesome business leaders whom Emma had once interviewed in Davos on Jan 22, 2016 for Emma's Book purpose.(My 16th Comment)(To be cont'd)

message 46: by Vania (new)

Vania Hernández (lapetitefille) | 1 comments Yes, please! She is an incredible human being and an inspiration for everybody :D
I'd love to know more about her :)

message 47: by Takashi (new)

Takashi Yuasa (takashiyuasainternationallawyer) | 102 comments Also, it makes perfect sense for Emma to interview Emma’s friends or Emma’s friends’ good friends, who kindly & frankly tell Emma about their struggling experiences for life, such as gender pay gap, gender inequality in employment, and so on for the sake of Emma's Book!!Emma needs to ask Emma's friends to give their invaluable help to Emma in this regard.
(My 17th Comment)(To be cont'd)

message 48: by Takashi (new)

Takashi Yuasa (takashiyuasainternationallawyer) | 102 comments Allow me to supplement the following: Said Emma's friends or fiends’ good friends who are struggling may prefer not disclosing their real names and so on, which each request, if any, shall be accepted & arranged perfectly appropriately. (My 18th Comment)(To be cont'd)

message 49: by Takashi (new)

Takashi Yuasa (takashiyuasainternationallawyer) | 102 comments Some people may suggest that Emma’s own experiences be incorporated into one particular chapter or two, which makes a certain sense, but I would rather suggest Emma’s experiences appear everywhere throughout Emma's Book together with Emma's own opinions.(My 19th Comment)(To be cont'd)

message 50: by Takashi (new)

Takashi Yuasa (takashiyuasainternationallawyer) | 102 comments For example, Emma's opinions & Emma's experiences can be effectively incorporated into Emma’s interviewings, e,g, Emma's interviewings with Emma’s friends or with Emma’s friends' good friends who are struggling.
In other words, Emma can interview said STRUGGLING FRIENDS by saying:I, Emma, have had such & such personal experiences, have experienced such & such personal feelings, or have had such & such opinions, how about you or your feelings in your life? That way Emma and said STRUGGLING FRIENDS can share various experiences & feelings together in Emma’s Book!! Such shared feelings , I believe, will be shared together by Readers of Emma’s Book!! (My 20th Comment)(To be cont'd)
