I finished my third series and completed my goal :)
Hopefully I will be able to finish more series.
It feels good to finish of a series.

I just noticed that we completed 435 series (435 of 571 (76%)).
Hopefully we can make it to 500!

I know I'm a bit late, but if I were to join the challenge now, should I count all series I completed/got up to date in 2016 or just those I'll complete from today onward?

You include everything completed in 2016. When you start makes no difference...you get credit for the year.

Even if, upon closer inspection, between books published in the last few months and new trilogies grouped together with old ones, I'm left with a grand total of 1 series up to date... >.<

Clarifying question:
I thought we were only supposed to add the LAST book in a series to our "500 series" shelf?
I notice that some people are adding all the books they've read in a series.....

You are correct! I'll take a look.

I also did that in the beginning. It's a question of updating when you read the latest. Some series have more that one come out every few months. Must remember to take the previous book off that shelf.
