Here are a few to start:

Sarah:
Sarah's Key

Sarah, Plain and Tall

Beth:
Mrs. Dalloway

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (in this one Elizabeth is a background character, but I remember liking the book, even if Elizabeth has a tiny part)

The Swiss Family Robinson

The Help

Dan/Daniel:
Forrest Gump

The Shining

Three-Ten to Yuma and Other Stories

Beth Joels (willowwhisper) | 19 comments I just found a book by an author named Beth. :) The Body Electric. It sounds very interesting. Not quite fitting the criteria, though. I wonder if this author could be younger than I am...

I was going to make a note if you couldn't find a book with a character with your name, an author would be just as good! Or a character of a friend or family member would also work! I was going to try to list a few books that might fit the bill using the names of the people listed as a member of this group! Maybe I'll get around to that today!

Beth Joels (willowwhisper) | 19 comments I know I'll be able to find something good. I mean, Elizabeth is a pretty darn common name. :) There are some famous ones out there, too: Little Women, Pride and Prejudice. But I've read them, so I will keep looking.

I'm definitely going to read this book, too. Based on the author's profile and self descriptive blurb, I like her already.
