Wonder question

In Wonder by R.J. Palacio the writer shows how friends are the key to survival, at least during school. Jack Will is Augusts best friend, and he shows the reader that the cover is sometimes never like the book inside. Jack finds out how smart, kind and funny August really is. Even though the principal made Jack become Augusts friend, they will always be best friends.
