Bill Last week I caught the recent BBC adaptation of And Then There Were None. Excellent cast of actors; Charles Dance, Burn Gorman, Toby Stephens, Maeve Dermody, to name a few. It was moody, intense and just an entertaining show to watch. If you get the chance, you should give it a look.

Gisela Hafezparast | 368 comments We watched this and it was brilliant. I had read the book a long time ago and liked it, but couldn't remember the ending. Hence, until the last 15 minutes I thought that the last two would survive and didn't see the ending coming at all. Very well acted and whilst I had some sympathy with some of the characters at the beginning, once their crimes were explained further, it went just as Agatha Christie had planned. It is incredible how her novels/films still can hold an audience although her stories must be the best-known crime in the world. Brilliant, well worth a watch.

This sort of but not really ties into this discussion: we've been watching that old TV show "The Avengers," (Steed and Mrs. Peel era), and they did their own take on the novel where seven people were invited to a party and it turns out nobody knew who the host was. As it also turns out, the party was held on an airplane going to an unknown destination. I think that book has been repurposed many, many times!
