Z O D I A C S

Long ago, aliens made contact with earth. Some of them bred with humans, but the majority remained undetected. Things to do with their coming can be found all around the world though--the pyramids are an excellent example. But now, years later, the existence of aliens is threatening to become a publicly known fact. People who are descended from the aliens and humans who mated are not that different from normal people, except they have this uncanny "sixth sense" if you will. An intuition about certain things which is never wrong. They can sense danger before others, and just have a way of knowing who to trust and who not to.

But, with the knowledge of these hybrids threatening to become known, the aliens devised a plan to protect them. You see, this is because these intuitive souls are the pawns of the aliens. Human brain waves are impenetrable to alien hypnosis, but the brain of a hybrid work differently, and that makes them susceptible to being used in whatever way the aliens see fit. The aliens plan to use the hybrids by taking over them and ascending to positions of power, effectively setting themselves up to start taking over the planet.

However, these plans cannot happen for awhile, so they need someone out there protecting the hybrids from enemy aliens who go to Earth to seek and destroy them. This is how the Zodiac program was invented. With thirteen major Zodiacs, and many minor ones, each protector received a title. They were ordinary humans at first, but one by one, they were abducted as children. They were taken to a secret facility in the human world and trained to become almost invincible weapons of destruction--but their abilities were to be used for good.

Each trainee is led to believe that they were orphans, and that the people at the facility saved them from a live growing up without families. They do not know that they, too, came from rich, important families. They do not know that they were kidnapped from what could have been a loving, happy life. This is why they fight without question for the aliens, sworn to secrecy about their existence. They consider the aliens their family.

I M M O R T A L S

This is where the tales of old were all based on truth. Have you ever wondered why Snow White looked so beautiful? She was a vampire. And that is how it sort of started. Years ago, one of the villains of the fairy tales we hear now decided to lay a curse upon all those who had the "happy endings" in the books which were written about them. I mean, magic existed, and it still does, only nowadays all the technology and processed food has effected our bodies and the power dwindled away. But there are still those with remnants of it; those who have dreams of the future which come true, others who can tell if a person is good or bad through instinct, etc. This is about a girl who has more power for a descendant than anyone has ever seen before. Of course, the general public doesn't know about this. Even the descendants don't know about it. But anyway, back on track.

The curse was to turn all the princesses and princes into vampires. Then, when they had to hide away in the day for fear of the sun, she bound them up and tossed them into coffins, burying them in cemeteries to never be found again. Only, here is the thing; one manages to escape. A grave robber (or a group of high school students who dared their friend to dig up a grave) dug up one of these coffins and opened it. When they saw that the body was completed unharmed and alive, the person inside played the weakling, begging for help and saying someone had kidnapped her and were trying to kill her. They let him/her out. In their bloodlust, the fairy tale character killed them all and drained them. Police think it is some type of serial killer. But the protagonist, having had stories passed down through her family (since they actively tried to keep their magic alive) knows differently.

She goes to the country where the attack happened and starts to search for the (okay, for the sake of this description, it is a guy) prince turned vampire. She finds him somehow, scared, volatile, and alone, and one of her powers is that she can suppress blood lust. She is part of an age old prophecy few people know about. She is going to be the hero. Anyway, she and him band together after a few days or weeks or trying to get to know each other, whatever, and start to try and find the other fairy tale characters. All the while, they need to discover who the villain is, as the villain was made immortal somehow as well as all the others in the stories. They need to take them out, maybe some side with the fairy tale characters, and they need to break the curse. But they can't break the curse until they find everyone otherwise they will die. But breaking it won't be easy, and so they take a long time discovering the way to break the curse, and some of the fairy tale characters can't be found and will die in the coffins once the curse if lifted (it can't be helped).

Anyway, the vampire she first found falls in love with her, and he is supposed to be engaged to one of the female vampires, and so that vampire is jealous and turns to the villain and tells her what is happening. The villain pretends to care for her and take her in, but ends up using her, and the villain once again tries to hinder the descendant from helping out the vampires. But yeah, maybe a small love triangle, nothing too big--I don't want a Twilight thing on our hands.

E S C A P E

A protagonist who is a survivor from a sudden war that ended up with the majority of her country being taken over by another. They might have a younger sister or brother and they are their main priority. Each day they have to hide within old buildings to stay safe from gangs who are on the take from the enemy army who are tasked with taking females as hostages to be sold as slaves, or, as they mockingly refer to them as, "comfort woman".

They see tagging all the time, and the tagging might be the sign of a group of underground rebels who help get the protagonist and their sibling out of the war zone and back to their own country. The main character, a male who is looking after his younger sister, will often tell her tales about the world to keep her mind off of the horror they have to face every day. Genders and whatnot can be switched, this is just an outline of the world, as usual.

We can easily add in a magical twist. Two nations at war, the two people in question caught in the opposing country when the war began and trying to get back to their home. Maybe they went to go and see a parent who was working there, I don't know. It is something we might be able to create together. I haven't actually thought this one through much in regards to the entire plot.

J U D G E M E N T

In January of 1692, the daughter and niece of Reverend Samuel Parris of Salem Village became ill. When they failed to improve, the village doctor, William Griggs, was called in. His diagnosis of bewitchment put into motion the forces that would ultimately result in the death by hanging of nineteen men and women. In addition, one man was crushed to death; seven others died in prison, and the lives of many were irrevocably changed.

This roleplay could be about their descendants or it could be a period piece taking place during the actual trials. This idea is really raw, so I am open to any ideas and plots if you want to do it with me. I have a few ideas about races other than witches.

B E T R O T H A L

This is my idea of Beauty and the Beast. Only, there is a slight twist... okay, that is a lie, there is a big twist. There is one kingdom which had a darkness around it. It has the biggest army out of any other kingdom around, therefore, in order to appease the king of the country, they send one princess from each family to the king in question to judge. He hardly pays any of them any attention, except for one, special daughter in particular. He sends the others away, and they are set to be married. Only, the king is not how he seems.

Either he never ventures out into the day because he is a vampire, or he spends his nights out as a werewolf or something. I'm going to say that the prince falls in love with the daughter that his father is supposed to marry. There are rumors that his past wives all vanished mysteriously, so maybe he killed them in a blood frenzy, or he tried to turn them into werewolves and hey died in the process. I don't know, but basically, the king is an evil jerk, the prince is the charming hero, the daughter is the innocent damsel, and we could probably add more people, too.

A V A T A R S

There was once peace, eighteen years past. The Water Tribes, the Air Nomads, the Earth Kingdom, and the Fire Nation lived together in harmony. Trade thrived, alliances were strong. Yet while they were allies, there will always be an enemy. This enemy turned out to be the spirit world. Eighteen years ago the gates of the spirit world ripped open, and all the evil spirits flooded into the natural world to wreck havoc. Small things, things that some might not even consider spiritual. They invoked thoughts of war, greed, lust, and other sins in the minds of men. They started wars between brothers, strife between sisters. They caused unnatural happenings, disasters and ungodly creatures to take the lives of the innocent.

The good spirits watched with sorrow, unable to leave as freely and unable to help. Yet, there was one spirit who was pure of heart and let their being into the world, being born into four babies, quadruplets. Each other commanded one of the four elements. Together, they were the Avatars, sent to master their powers and close the spirit world. They were protectors of both spirit and living, guardians of two worlds, the gatekeepers. Eighteen years they grew, and now their destiny has arrived. The evil spirits have corrupted the minds of the powerful, and caused a war to begin. The four Avatars couldn't have known their time was here, so young and yet to master their powers together... and then the Fire Nation attacked.

Girl goes to a fan meet and on the little sticky notes they fill out, she asks, "Can we exchange numbers?" But she chickens out and walks away before he has a chance to see who it is that actually wrote the note. However, her number was on the sticky note, which she forgot to grab off of her fan book before she walked away. So he texts her and she thinks it is a mean prank, there, the girl ignores him. Yet, somehow, he tracks her down secretly to give her the book of K-pop stuff she took to the fan meet to get signed. He made sure everyone in his group signed it before sneaking out to meet her, too.

S A C R I F I C E S

Basically, this is a story which follows, at first a girl, who was kidnapped off the street. The kidnappers are a group of people who belong in an occult and were going to sacrifice her to either their deity or in some type of satanic ritual. If deity, it could be an Aztec one, or a Greek one. I will explain more soon. But anyway, the girl somehow escapes during the start of the ritual, but in doing so, the ritual is not completed and she is left with magical energy of the deity which enables her to see the world in true form. All people aren't just people; some are demons, others are angels (this is if we go the satanic route). If Greek, she would see that some people are actually Satyrs and Nymphs, and she would look at a picture of a model and see that it is, instead of it being a very beautiful woman, some type of mythological woman who uses magic to hide her true form from the world. The homeless people in the world are actually made up of a lot of the "freaks" of the supernatural world.

Anyway, later, a boy finds her and he tells her that he had the same thing happen to him--he was kidnapped, escaped, and can see the world like she can now. That there is a group of people who were saved (some by police, some escaped, some were set free by people in the occult who didn't want a certain person to get hurt, some were held longer than others and the occult members fell in love with them and set them free in the night because, no matter a persons feelings for the sacrifices, it was going to happen anyway). They discover that recent activity has picked up in the occult world and that they are preparing for evil to come to the world. That is why the political agencies are getting riles up, because the demons disguised as people there are starting to cause trouble. Since they are the only ones who can see the angels and demons, etc, it is up to them to band together with a small army and foil the main plan on having the president of some country (probably America) inhabited by the devil. Just a rough idea. The Greek version of this would go a different way, maybe Hades is trying to take over the world.

P U R G A T O R Y

Purgatory. A place where those who have done an equal amount of good and bad in their life go, or a place where they have done neither and are at a stage where the Lord has them on a fence. They are to somehow prove themselves to go to Heaven, or fall to hell. There is a girl there who inhabits the body of a girl who died in hospital, but they nurses and doctors brought her back, only the spirit of the original girl did die and go to Heaven--the spirit of a girl in purgatory took her place. She has to slip into this girls life, going on under the cover that she had amnesia, all the while trying to find out what happened to her actual family. Because of her true state of being a soul without her original body, she can see spirits, and ghosts, and can tell who is and isn't the original owner of another body by looking at them. Anyway, in the end, she decides that she is going to forget about trying to get to Heaven, and is going to stay on Earth, in this new body, for as long as she can until the body dies, in order to help other spirits cross over.

When she meditates, her soul leaves her body and she can go back to purgatory, and she helps the lost souls there. She is clearly very different to most people who have been in purgatory before, but she is only a rare type, not a one off type. She helps people pass over, etc, which I have already said a few times. But there is someone who is trying to keep the souls from passing over. This person has items that belong to the souls and use that to control them. It has to be a very personal item (a childhood teddy bear, a wedding ring, etc). This person uses the souls and makes them wreak havoc on the lives on those who have wronged him/her, making them help him in becoming one of the most powerful people in the world. He might be the son of a see or a human who has the Sight, whatever, but he uses it for evil purposes.

Anyway, the girl helps, solves the problem, and in giving up her dream of going to Heaven in order to help people (and risking getting sent back to purgatory for another hundred years), she actually earns the favor of her guardian angel who ends up offering her a chance to pass over because she was so selfless. But she declines. She lives to an old age helping spirits, and when she dies for a second time, goes straight to Heaven. Any plotting in between her returning and dying again can be worked out and edited, etc, this was just to give you an idea of the world.

D I V I D E D

A world where you have humans who are half animal, half human. The hybrids are known as the feral. There are full shifters, and then humans. Humans like to oppress the hybrids like they are vermin. They are not allowed to reproduce. They live segregated to all others. People who are full shifters have to hide their abilities to live a normal life. The hybrids hate the humans for their oppression, the humans hate the hybrids as they see them as freaks. The shifters are able to fit in anywhere though; they look like humans around humans, and they semi shift around hybrids to look like them. People want this oppression to end, at least the hybrids do, and the normal humans want them all obliterated in order to live in a civilized way of life without "dirty, flea ridden freaks" running around. War is looming. Death is coming. What will happen when you are caught in the middle?

W A I T I N G

People age until the age of eighteen, where they then stop growing, and will not age or grow until they meet their soul mate. This is so that soul mates may grow old and happy together. This is a story of a man who has been around since the first world war, and he fought in it. But you cannot really consider him a man, since in actuality, while he may be over sixty years old, he still has the physical age of an eighteen year old.

He has a bad reputation for being a player, but this is only because he sleeps with so many girls to try and find his soul mate. One day, a girl befriends him, begrudgingly, after asking about the scar on his arm that he says he got in the war. They are friends for ages, before one day, they realize they have both started aging. This roleplay is based off of a Tumblr idea that we can mix and match, etc, with the other examples on the post.

G U A R D I A N S

Everyone really does have soul mates. However, if your soul mate dies before you meet them, they become your "guardian angel" of sorts. This is because they want you to live a long, happy life, so they take care of you as a ghost and make sure you remain unharmed and in safe situations. They do this because their life was so short, and because, being your soul mate, they can't help but love you and want the best for you.

It is a kind of sad roleplay, because the guardian would want to be with their soul mate, but they cannot be since they are dead. So, while they wait for you to die so that you will join them, they protect you. But what if there were other guardian angels who were doing the opposite of their jobs? Said guardian angels were trying to get their living soul mates killed just to be with them out of sheer longing. How would you protect your soul mate and keep them alive, all the while trying to keep other guardians from killing their own soul mates?

R E A L I T Y

High school is a thing of the past... sort of. Nowadays, people use a virtual reality to gather life experience. The kicker? Once you are in the virtual world, you have no memory of it being a virtual world. You think it is real. You first go in at the age of five, and you live until you die. You gather points each game and, when you reemerged into the world of reality, those points can be turned into cold hard cash, or can be used to buy "boosts" and other little goodies for your next in game life.

Your first three plays are free, but afterwards, you have to earn points to pay for your plays. Once you turn eighteen, you are no longer allowed to play. Obviously, the longer your game, and the more interesting and beneficial it is to your avatar while you play, the more points you get. People can even watch your games on the TV. Long gone are the games of reality television. It is the time of virtual reality television. People can build up a fan base and even get sponsors who will buy them a house, furniture, etc, in the real world, in exchange for a percentage of the profit earned by the player in the game.

In the game, no one is supposed to remember they are in a game. Until one day, one girl does. People can change their appearance and their name before they go into the game, so you would think it would be hard to find friend from foe, yes? Well, not for her. She is able to see through the code to reveal what the person really does look like in reality. What does this mean for the virtual world, and the real world? It means things are about to change. This is because this girl is not just another player. She died early on in one of her games a few years ago. She had been in the top one hundred players in the world. But, with her having used all of her points to buy boosts and such before the game she died it, it meant she had no money and no points to buy back in. Players who cannot buy another game are sent to "real" high schools and are no longer permitted to play. But those schools are a joke, and they are dangerous. You spend your days living in shared housing with other drop outs and have to scavenge for scrap metal just to earn a meal.

However, her luck changed when the main frame, the artificial intelligence of the virtual world, decided to offer her one free play for the one hundredth year celebration of the virtual world having been created. Combine that with the fact that her ex-boyfriend is playing for the number one spot in this game, well... it will be an interesting turn of events, wouldn't you agree?
