Question RE: Amazon merger

'm currently on Goodreads updating what I've read in 2016 so far. If I click to link my Amazon purchases to Goodreads so I can easily pick which I want to add to my bookshelf, will it cause me problems, like the ones that have been mentioned on Facebook recently, regarding Amazon deleting reviews for my books because they are my friends on FB or on Goodreads....etc. Does anyone know about this?
Does linking my Amazon to my Goodreads, cause any problems what-so-ever? Especially regarding my book reviews.

I try to avoid linking any social networks, but I also wear a tin-foil hat :)
