Great positive attitude.
Takes the pressure off all of us this week.
Didn't know clocks switch at different times. Should have realized.
Guess we'll be rolling early Friday morning correct?

Great positive attitude.

Ezi, has let us roll this week Joanne, see above.

It was just an off week. We're good to go per Ezi!

Thanks! Much appreciated.

No mess up. We're a team and we proved it this week. I was fine waiting another week but now will check out my pile. I do believe I have a book 7 calling my name!

Book: Remember When by Judith McNaught
Date Read: 19 March
Ratings: 2 stars
Review:
I remembered reading this book during my McNaught glom years back. When I came across this book in the library, I decided to re-read it on a whim. I remember being ambivalent about it then but during this re-read I was able to figure about why.
Paradise is one of my all-time favorite books by this author and Remember When reads like a lightly modified abridged version of the same. The two lead characters Diana & Cole remind me very much of Meredith & Matt. The more I read the book, the more similarities I see that affected my enjoyment.
Conclusion: the book standsalone on it's own merit. But when seen against my fav book, it falls far short.

Hm I don't get all the notifications to my emails. Will have to check why. Thanks for letting me know.

You are kind, Joanne. I agree - we're an awesome team :)

Not all teams would have acted like we have- I've seen it on other posts. We were all in contact during the week and knew it was a tough week for many. That green cover really got to a few of us.
I've never won even when my team has been in the running for the top spot. I've always felt - It's not whether you win or lose but how you play the game (forgot who said this) is the right way to live your life. I'd rather be known for kindness, ethics, etc. than that I did whatever I could to be #1 even if it hurt others along the way.
And as Ezi says - it's supposed to be fun!

Well said Joanne

Happy choosing.
My read for this week is next on my list. Finishing up the book I started last night and then will get to this one.
I agree that you guys are one of the best communicators. I have a few problem ones and you guys never give me that. I'm trying to find a book to read for myself. With a veterinarian or someone who helps/works with animals that I would like to read. SMH. It's a challenge. I just read Worth the Fall by Claudia Connor which would have been perfect as the heroine helped kids using equine therapy to regain mobility and confidence.

Do you like Susan Mallery - her Fool's Gold series has a vet.
Jill Shalvis' Animal Magnetism as well or books by Rachel Lacey.

How does that figure in for this week's books?

It's on the 2009 list :)

I didn't see it and when I looked it up one of the books showed a different year.
Thanks!

I've made a note on the tracking post of pg number.

Glad we all seem to be on the same page about it being fun!
Love books about SEALS and other military. Reading one now by Rachel Gibson.

What I Love About You (Truly Idaho Military Men #3)
Haven't read the others but have this one to review for one of my sites.
Have you read Elle Kennedy's Killer Instinct series?

Same here. Still have to read 6 and 7.
I read book 1 in her new series, Outlaws, too.

I read books out of order all the time since I review for two sites and sometimes I choose books that sound interesting to me even if I haven't read the others before. Sometimes I do try to get the others first and read them so I get the flow better but it's not totally necessary for me.

I tend to read books out of order depending on what mood I'm in and what challenges I'm working on.

I can imagine the difficulty unless you like the alternate.

Book: Show No Fear by Marliss Melton
Date Finished 3/20/2016
How it Fits: 7th Book in Seal Team 12
Rating: ★★★
Review: This book was not one of the best in the series IMO. I just couldn't connect with Lucy the heroine. She took being independent to such a level that it risked not only her mission but her partner Gus. I also didn't feel the chemistry between Gus and Lucy. There was plenty of action and I did like the jungle setting. So while this one was just okay for me I will keep reading the series.
