What will happen after Jonas and Gabe arrived to Elsewhere????
I never thought they died, even before I read the sequels. I think they were close to death, but there was a line at the end about Jonas seeing lights or windows or something from a village. I always assumed they made it.
And then if you read the other books, you know that they do.
Personally, I felt the whole series was a pretty big let down, but they definitely don't die.

Why do you believe they just die? There are three sequels to the book.
I thought they died too. Until I read the sequels...specifically the 4th book ;)
When I first read the book there weren't any follow-ups, but I'm glad she expanded it to a full series. These books are one of my all-time favourite series.
