A Very Potter Musical
Im just started im on the first one
I ;love it Cho Changs awesome,
I'm not Cho chang u ****
I'm Cho Chang ya'll
I'm not Cho chang u ****
I'm Cho Chang ya'll
I love that part! What do you think of Cedric? You should be meeting him soon. And Malfoy! The person playing Malfoy is amazing!
I know i just passed that part!! So funny, Dumbledore's awesome too!! Qurill just came in!
Ha! I'm unhealithy obsessed with them (and Harry Potter), so this combines my two obsessions into one :D
YAY!! I love this I made my friend watch it too, AND IT IS AMAZNG!!!!!!!
I've gotten 2 of my friends plus my brother to watch it. And then some of my friends that I went to a Harry and the Potters concert with before the movie premiere had seen it, so we were quoting it the whole time :D
haha that's awesome, Im going to email the link to some of my cousins!
hahaha!!! Draco is rolling around on the floor!!!!
yep!!! and it's awesome!!!!!!!!
I finished the musical and I have told a bunch of my friends to watch it and they think it is hilarious!!!!
my favorite part was either Draco doing anything! or Qurill and Voldemort's scene.
Um...I don't know, waayyy too many lol. definitely the ron/hermione makeout scene...and the quirrel and riddle song, near the beginning....and the "voldemort is going down!" song...and voldemort as a ghost (or something) talking to quirrel at the end...and bellatrix was amazing :p
My favorite parts were everything to do with Malfoy. The person who played him is a fantastic actress! And all of the quotable moments! My friends and I went to a Harry Potter concert, and spent all the waiting time quoting the musical! It was great. :D

i love harry, ron and hermione saying "totally awesome"! yay americanized Harry!
well i definitely liked Act 1 better than Act 2... the voldemort and bellatrix thing was weird-bordering-on-embarassing. and what's worse, i was watching this with my little cousins cause i was like, "oh, harry potter parody! that'll be cute and NOT inappropriate!" uhhhh... but i loved the part when quirrell first comes on stage and draco's like "go home terrorist!!" hahahha that was great! or when hermione goes "drop the attitude harry potter, you're acting like garfield on a monday!"
That part was ackward. Apparently this is an editted version, but their edits made very little sense. I haven't seen the original, but from what I've heard from the youtube commenters, most of the things that were editted out were innuendos that you really have to think about to understand, while they left in all of the blatently ackward parts. I love how quotable it was! My brother and I will randomly start quoting it, and everyone around us just stares. I remember we were watching Goblet of Fire a few days ago, and right before Cedric was killed, my brother said "You're such a spare, Cedric!" I burst out laughing, and everyone who was watching with us did not get why I was laughing during such a sad part. None of them have seen the musical yet. :)
OMG, HERMIONE, SHUT UP!lol
or when snape's like, "that's absuuuuuuurd."
the music is pretty catchy, too!
p.s. i could do without the language, b/c i think this would be totally cute for high schools or drama depts at colleges to put on. im going to show this to my theatre professor!
I think that if they start to give out rights to the show, then they could have the option to just use alternative words. It's not that hard to get rid of swears.
well, is there another version? bc i was reading this article:http://www.publicbroadcasting.net/mic...!
and it said that they edited the script for content; but the link posted by the OP on this board has swear words, so idk is there an edited version on youtube? cause i cant find one...but oh well im a big girl and im about to watch it again!!
my only other criticism: they need MIKES! there are times when i cant hear what they're saying!!!
The version available now on youtube is the editted version. They cut out the worst swears, along with several innuendos.I know! It was so hard to understand them at times! Although I think that getting rid of the audience would help a bit more than mikes, although mikes wouldn't hurt. :)
really?? cause ron and dumbledore still say the "s" word like lots of times and there's still some voldemort-bellatrix stuff (but granted, it doesnt last very long) idk i'm not trying to sound picky i really do like it! im watching it again!
YOURE THE TIGGER TO MY WINNIE...GINNY!
and ron wearing that headband, he looks like michael cera in JUNO...like i wondered if they were maybe trying to imitate that look.

The edits focused more on the innuendos, from what I can tell from the comments. And I believe that they removed an "f" or two, although I'm not positive on that.
gotcha. i love the way the guy who plays voldemort talks; these are obviously theatre majors - he projects very well. RON NEEDS TO SING LOUDER!!! I'm watching "Granger Danger" and he has such a soft voice! they need mikes!
I'm pretty sure that most of them are. They are all so talented. I love the person playing Malfoy. When I went to see the 6th Harry Potter movie, when Malfoy said how he wouldn't be going back to Hogwarts, all I could think of was Pigfarts. I snorted so loudly (by accident, of course), and none of my friends got why that part in the movie funny.
They made a Harry Potter MUSICAL? That is weird. I haven't watched it, but just the thought of it is makking it weird. Just thinking of a singing Harry makes me a little dumbfounded. It is like turning a book that was meant for scaring and amazing into a child's short story! (just my opinion of making Harry Potter into a musical)
It's in a parody style. I personally think that Harry Potter could be made into a non-parody musical, but it would be incredibly difficult, and incredibly easy to mess up. They would need an impressively good team to make a serious Harry Potter musical.
yeah it's a parody. first and foremost it's supposed to be funny, but the ppl who made it are *actually* harry potter fans, so it's not mean-spirited or anything. i think you might enjoy it, but the only thing i HATE about it is there's no luna :(
