Looking for Amazon listed books to feature in a demo video

Sounds like you have a good idea there. As with the books themselves, the only problem I foresee is the marketing of your site. There is so much going on out there, you'll have to think of something pretty awesome to make your site visible.
Nevertheless, I wish you a successful venture. You are most welcome to take a look at the Sam Jenkins trilogy, which is doing fairly well (Poacher, Cheetah in the Rain and Fighting AIDS).
Leon Mare.

Yes, it's certainly where many fail. Luckily, marketing is what I've been doing for most of my career - albeit in a different sector, so I'm cautiously optimistic:)
I now have well over 100 authors wanting me to feature their books in the demo, but if you want yours added, just send me the ASINs.
I'll post a link, when it's live so you can check out the video and then test-drive the site when that comes online too.
Regards
Simon.

Do you know the extent of the KDP Select rulings on Amazon? I have three supernatural novels on Amazon-Kindle. I know I can't go to another ebook publisher with the same books (I will not check the KDP Select option in the future) but I don't know about showcasing the trilogy on your site. Since the mention ASINs and not ISBN, you must know your away around the Amazon playing field.
Thanks.

DO church-going people think that ASIN means a sin?
Stupid joke.

My site is exclusively Amazon (at least for now) and so the "buy now" button will direct readers to the Amazon store in their country, so there's no conflict at all.
What my site will help authors to do is get the word out about their promotions, whether these are KDP Free days (of which Amazon allows 5 in every 90), discount promos (where you simply reduce the price on Amazon for a period of time (no limit on Amazon but my site will limit all promo exposure to 5 days in every 30 for each edition) or giveaways, in which you randomly choose one or more recipients of a non-kindle edition from a select group of readers who fulfilled certain criteria.
The reason I ask for ASINs is that when you add a book on my site, this is all you need to type in for it to go off and retrieve most of the book's details. The only other thing you need to do is classify it by category, audience, content and about 50 or so genre tags, since the Amazon databases don't really have any of this info.
A few days ago, I might have thought your ASIN joke a bit silly :), but I've since realised there is indeed a lot of confusion over this thing. On another forum, where I've had well over 100 responses to the above post, at least half of them only gave me ISBN-13s :(
In some cases, the ASIN is the same as the ISBN-10 but not always, so for accessing their databases, the ASIN makes the most sense for me.
Of course, I can look them each up and find the ASIN but that'll take me more time :(

I'd be honored to have my book showcased in the video.

The books are all branded to look similar without looking the same:

Two of my ebooks on Amazon have BOOB in the ASIN. Are they trying to tell me something?
I only have three so far on Amazon-Kindle, not six like Martyn above. They make up what my brother called the DARK JOURNEYS TRILOGY. He created two of the covers, in fact. My photo was used for the first one, but someone else did the type.
In this order, they are
Dark Neighborhoods BOOB6KY086
Dark Corridors BOOBVTFQS1
Dark Journeys BOOJ3F10Q2
These are dark fantasy / supernatural / horror novels featuring creatures from Indonesia. However, they are much more than that -- mainly entities from another dimension out to take over the planet that we have not taken care of. It sounds sci-fi, but the tone is paranormal horror.
The audience may be more adult than teens -- not because of sex or violence (this has some horror violence and the sex is mainly in the memories of certain characters) -- but because of the complexity of the narrative. I guess you could call it adult horror. It's hard for me to judge in this case.
DARK NEIGHBORHOODS takes place in Atlanta.
DARK CORRIDORS takes place primarily in China with a few surreal scenes taking place in a small river town in Illinois.
DARK JOURNEYS begins briefly in China but switches to the above-mentioned small town for most of the story.
For keywords, one might list: paranormal, supernatural, other dimensional aliens, horror, haunting memories, psychic investigations . . .
I hope these meet your criterion. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Charles Justus Garard

Feel free to use any Creativia book in the video :) You can have a look at them at www.creativia.org, just send me a message here or to info@ctivia.com if you find something you want to use.

My memoir, How the Winds Laughed, takes readers around the world in a 28-foot sailboat a hundred miles a day (or sometimes less) at a time as my husband and I struggle with broken equipment, storms, and Portuguese men O' war. In between, in the lovely times, we meet gracious Polynesians and Micronesians who take us into their homes and their hearts. ASIN: B009D0A53U.

Blackout
In the future, after the world has succumbed to war, the government we know has collapsed, the power has been turned off, and a new government that wants nothing but control reigns supreme. Who will be able to stop us from being held down in a life before freedom or technology?

I'm making the selection now. Had over 350 responses on one of the LinkedIn forums. Will post links and further details here when done.
Aiming to have site launched by end of May and of course the videos will be posted there.
Watch this space as they say ;)
Cheers
Simon.

I'd love to have my book included.

A widow, Camille Young, wants nothing more but to have someone to call her own; with the right man of course. Just when she thinks she found him in Greg Langston – a smart, sexy, and brilliant attorney - who is very married and expecting his first child with his wife Michelle, their future gets put on hold. When things don’t go Camille's way as she hoped, the pain of her past resurfaces.
Camille has a plan that will affect everyone around her. When Greg's wife is targeted, Greg turns to Camille for answers. Was this part of her plan?...Suddenly Greg finds himself in a situation with a woman who will stop at nothing to make him her own, even if it means destroying his family and her own life.
Camille's entire world seems to unravel as she spirals out of control, not letting anything or anyone get in her way. Someone to Call My Own is a compelling story of lies, desperation and betrayal, and the consequences that follow when an encounter with the wrong woman has a man fighting to save the lives of the ones he love.

Essentially it's a short screen-capture video with voice-over that will show how easy it is to add author and book profiles to the site's database (only need to do it once and most of the book details are retrieved automatically from Amazon), how these will then be permanently accessible to anyone browsing the website, and how authors and publishers can then schedule book promotions and author events while not only keeping track of (and charting) the results but also gathering useful statistical information about their readership demographics.
The site has been in development for the last 8 months and is very cool, but of course to show its full potential in the demo video, I need to pre-populate the database with some books and authors. These will of course all be deleted before the site is launched and I will make it very clear in the video that any promotions and events shown are purely for demonstration purposes.
If you'd like to have your books appear in this video demo, all I need is your author name (as it appears in Amazon), the ASIN for one of the editions of each book you want to appear, an idea of the content rating and a few genre tags so I know how to classify it.
As a thank you, in addition to the free publicity you'll receive from the video, I'll make sure you're among the first to be invited to our extended free trial and will also throw in two free "Book of the Day" ads, should you choose to join up.
Look forward to hearing from you,
Simon.
