"Well..." Peter pretended to think. "Most of them are about Prince-ly thing, or what am I going to wear tomorrow to meet... whoever important people I will meet, or what's for dinner, and I barely have space left in my head to think about you."
"Come on," he chuckled. "It is serious, about the Prince-ly thing. I might not look like one, but I do actually make some contributions on running Illea."
((Let's just say.... Paudrey are on the other side of the library and hopefully, out of the reach. Or things would be awkward... xD))
((Haha, I don't mind thou. I mean, you can't hide that forever. Let's see what Meli thinks of it. :3))
((Whatever you guys want xD))
"Yes, I'm certain that what you're having for dinner greatly affects the nation," she smiled teasingly before retiring to the shelves of books behind her.

"Oh dear," he said dramatically. "Are you always this sass, or I just never knew it?"
"Ouch, you wounded me." Peter got up from his chair and leaned his back on the shelf. "So, that's your impression of me? An unobservant?"
"Really? Is that a good thing, Audrey?" he asked, smiling. He was both curious and amused at the same time.
"Part of the job," he shrugged. "But sometimes, it can be troublesome. Sometimes I wish I can unnotice something."

"Well," he sighed. "One time ago, I used to have this... friend, and I thought we were close. I like him, and he doesn't hate me. At first I didn't realized, but sooner I noticed that the only reason he wanted to be this weirdo's friend, was because, you guess, because of my stupid Prince ass. I wish I didn't notice, so thing wouldn't change between us. Too bad, you know, I was starting to relly like him." Peter explained. "Sometimes I just wish that I can see people equally nice and honest, instead of being able to detect lie. For me, it's as easy as breathing, to look at someone and tell what's actually in their head. I don't know how, I just did. And I am so not proud of it."

((YESSSSSSSSSSSS FINALLY!!!
*hair flipping* I. TOLD. YOU. SO.!))

((Someone gotta bust em somehow. Ψ(`▽´)Ψ))
She sighed softly, stepping closer to him. "I'm sorry, Peter, I really am. And I think... I understand. There are times when I'll really believe in one of my clients. And then I find evidence... And I wish I could have never found it. Because I lose my faith in them, because now there's unrefutible evidence that they lied to me about whether or not they really did commit the crime."
((Phileyyyyyyyyyy))
((Phileyyyyyyyyyy))
"I know." he smiled briefly. "That's why I try not to be too attached to anything ever again."
"Peter... Not everyone is like that. There've been clients who haven't let me down, too. Not just the few who have..."
"I wonder how they able to lied to you, few of your... you know, disappointing clients." Peter said. "Because I couldn't, you know. I look at you and suddenly I feel totally defenseless. Like you can really read me like you know me forever. I can't lie to you, it's just impossible."
Peter leaned closer to her. "Since the day I met you." Peter replied. "I can just stare at your eyes, and know that I don't have anything to hide. No more pretending. For some reason, I actually, willingly, let someone sees me for who I am. That someone is you, you know."
"I... Oh, Peter," she said softly, actually blushing for the in ages. She even felt tears begin to prickle at the corners of her eyes. She wished she could say something romantic back, but she was fairly dreadful at that sort of thing, and all she could do was stare back at him, speechless.
"Sorry, was that too mushy?" he asked, a little worried with what she thought of it. "You look like you need a hug."
"Mushy? A hug? Uhm, no... I mean, maybe... Possibly?" She asked, her brain in slight tatters at the moment.
"Well?" he spreaded his arms. "My arms are open if you want to."
"What? You ran out of option, you know. I'll be gentle. And I don't smell too bad either." he smirked.
"Too bad," she rolled her eyes, still laughing quietly. "Oh, whatever," she shook her head, and toon the step into his arms.
"See, that wasn't so hard, no?" Peter wrapped his arms around her protectively, but gentle.
She sniffed playfully. "Not terrible, I suppose." Then she smiled, and buried her face his chest.
((Philip be turning the corner be like
XD))

"Of course it isn't terrible. You just got yourself a royal hug. What could've been better than that, eh?" he said teasingly.
((That is both hilarious and creepy at the same time. XD))

"Wait, I think I know just the thing that's better than a royal hug."
Peter let go of that hug, and pulled himself away a little bit. His hands on her shoulder, and slowly he moved her right hand upward, gently swept the side of her neck, her cheek, and stopped as he put his fingers under her chin. Peter didn't exactly knew that he was doing but he did it anyway. One of very few moments where he acted before he thought about it. So instead of using words like he always did, he brought himself closer to Audrey. He closed his eyes, and within a second, his lips brushed against hers softly. He kissed her. He dropped his hands back to her shoulders, then lower to her hips, stroking the fabric of her dress that wrapped her perfectly. Peter fought with the strange sensation that made his neck hairs shivered when his skin rubbed against hers. Peter thought he might fell because he felt his feet shaking. But he felt comfortable about his ignorance and how he was just simply surrendering to this small part of utopia. He shouldn't do it, but his mind was rebelling, telling him to just enjoy this experience he never understood before. The only thing that could guide him to kept aware of the reality around them; the one that seemed like vanished as he kissed her, was her smell and it felt so strong in this close. She smelled like the blooming spring.
He thought he knew every part of her, but touching her lips with his was something new. It was like he met a brand new person. Everything he knew about Audrey seemed useless when they kissed; Peter forgotten everything, he wasn't even sure he remembered his own name. But instead of saying ‘how do you do?’ while shaking hands, they kissed, a greeting to whole new level of what was ahead on their future. He could feel his chest burnt, he wad going to explode. He could feel the rhyme and harmony of their hammer-like beating hearts. Suddenly, he hugged her so tight, like he wanted them to break into fragments, collided, and became one. Then he let go of her.
There was a strange incommunicable conversation between their eyes, they weren't speaking to each other. Peter thought maybe she liked it, because damn he sure liked it.
"Well," he smiled. "I think that royal hug can be beaten by a kiss of a humble guy who loves you too much."
((What did I just write...?))

((I am so proud of Peter (ノ´з`)ノ))
((O.O I feel so pressured, now... How can I possibly live up to that novella...))
A short gasp of breath escaped Audrey as Peter's lips connected with hers. Oh, gosh. She felt completely lost in that moment. Like everything was just... Gone. There was no thought. When he let go after what seemed like both forever, and far too short of a time, she just stared at him in silence, breathing heavily. "Wow," she breathed. Just the one word.
((Ugh, I'm so awful at this :/
I'm both saddened by my lack of skills, in awe of yours, and fangirling xD))

((Mwahahaha don't be. I'm just occasionally on the mood once in a month. It's not like I'm always detailed or anything. I'm more of a dialogue person))
"That cannot be your first kiss, no?" he chuckled sheepishly.

((nuoooo I just start to have a faith on their possible happy ending))
"Well, that was my first, actually. I just hope I did it right." he said. "And I hope I didn't dissapoint you."
