"Why would I want you to stop?" he asked teasingly.
"Nope." he shook his head. "I wonder if I let you be like this, you'll start calling me 'Pete' or... 'Dude' in few days. That would be interesting." he smirked, raising an eyebrow.
"Alright, suit yourself." he chuckled. "Honestly, I'm glad you decide to call me Peter." he told Audrey. "Just Peter."
"Just Peter?" She asked. "You're sure you don't want me to calm you Your Royal Highness Prince Peter of Illea?" She was teasing, now. Before, she'd been slightly worried, but now she was just teasing.
"No." he leaned closer to her. "First, that is a long and inefficient way to call someone. Second," he paused. "I feel that it what brought us apart. Calling each other 'Prince' or 'Lady', it feels like we're building a wall between our friendship. I don't know, it's just... If you call me so formally, I feel like even you're standing right in front of me, you're...out of my reach." he said hesitatedly. "And I feel the same when I called you so formally, like I'm taking a step away from you. I mean, that is not how a friendship works, right?"
She nodded. "I agree... It feels more stiff and formal when we formalize the names. And I must admit that I haven't been in many friendships before... But I don't believe they should be like when we were being formal. That felt wrong."
"Good point." he said. "Friendship is not about status. That's why I trust you with just my name, just Peter." Peter smiled softly. "Do you trust me with just Audrey?"
"Thank you." he said. "That means a lot to me."
((I know, it's killing me too!!! Ugh, Peter!!! Be a man and make yout first move!!))
"Me too," she nodded, smiling.
((Me toooo D:
You can't rush things with these two, though... They aren't quite as wacko as wecho xD))

"I'm glad you're here, you know." Peter smiled. "I really need someone I can talk to about that... thing. I'm not even telling my family yet."
"Thanks, Peter... It helps to talk about it, doesn't it?" She was slightly surprised he hadn't to his family, but he could do what he wanted she supposed.
"Yeah," he muttered. "It feels so much better now."
The sound of Cecily's pitch black, low-to-ground, heels clanked against the floor as she walked into the library. Books lined the wall and a fire place was flickering with sparks. Lately, she didn't have much relaxing to do and she thought about sitting down to read a book but thought against it. With a duster in hand she went over to a window seal and began to dust it.
Cecily continued to dust until the window seal was perfectly clean. She spotted a familiar face. A smile crossed her face as she rounded the corner of a bookshelf. It was just June. " Hello, June." She spat out, kind of confused. What was June doing here, looking at books?
" How are you?" Cecily asked. She fiddled with the duster in her hand and looked around at the grand library.
" Great and that won't last long." Cecily said bluntly. She brushed her hand slightly against the covers of books. Her favorite book was a classic which she kept in her room, stolen from the library.
" I bet less. All these royals are very...needy." Cecily said in a whisper so no one would hear. She picked a book off the shelf and brushed off some dust so she could see the cover. A girl in a garden sitting on a wooden swing that had 2 ropes tied to a thick branch of a tree sat on the cover. The title was so faded that she couldn't make out what it was called but it looked fine. She stuffed it in her pocket before saying, " Do you like reading?"
" Same here." Cecily said over a smile. She wasn't very open to people she didn't know but she knew June well enough to have a nice conversation with her. Soon, she would have to be off to make a new gown for the Queen but that could wait for a little bit. Another book found place in her pocket too. Two books would last her about a week. In between work she planned on reading the books then whenever she finished return them. But, there is one book she didn't plan on ever returning, her favorite one. " Do you like your Selected girl? Or are you a maid for a royal now a day?"
Cecily giggled over a set of dazzling smiles. " I just got promoted. Now I am the Queens maid. Specking of the Queen I've got to make a dress for her. I guess that can wait though. I'm glad to here you have such a nice girl. Legend has it that some Selected hurt there maids. They say you could hear there screams and yelling." She said wickedly. " Anyway, I should get going I guess. Don't want to keep my Queen waiting." With that she curtsied and went off to make the dress.
As they arrived at the library, Peter opened the door and let Audrey walked in first.
"So, what do you want to read next?" he asked.
"I'm not quite sure... Typically, I've been coming in here and choosing random books off the shelves to see if I like them."
"Have you ever pick a random book, thought that you will like it, but turned out that you hate it?"
She nodded. "Definitely. It happens all the time. I try to read to the end, though, to see if there's anything I can salvage from it..."
((OMG my notification messed up big time. Sorry!!!))
"I can relate to that." he nodded in agreement. "Okay, so I was here earlier and suprisingly, didn't quite find anything that I want to read. Do you have any suggestion for me?"

"Hm..." She thought for a moment, chewing her lip. "Well. What have you read before?" She asked. "Ender's Game, obviously..."
"No I haven't. I actually I just randomly pick a book, claimed that I've read it to impress girls." he said teasingly.
((It's cool :) Happens all the time))
She rolled her eyes. "Mmhm." Distractedly, she looked around the room, scanning the spines of the books.

Peter waited patiently for Audrey to choosed something.
"Shakespeare, huh? Well, I think I've read Hamlet, but that's all."
"Hamlet, hm?" She asked. "You should try... Midsummer Night's Dream. Or Romeo and Juliet. Two of his more famous works, I suppose..."
((Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww *totally not stalking*))
((This is just too precious. I am so happy I might fly))
((Aw aw aw aw aw aw I'm so excited I forgot to put any kaomoji))
Peter was staring at Audrey while she was talking, but he was slightly out of his head. "I'm sorry, what?" he blinked, as he gained back his full consciousness. "I mean, I'm listening, but it’s just... I've had something on my mind I couldn't quite shake off."
