Mystery/suspense/thriller *** Summary; This book series is about three children who have series of unfortunate events, just as the title suggests. The book that I read in the series is called the bad beginning, where all the trouble for the three kids begin. It starts out with Violet, clause, and Sunny receiving the news that there Mother and Father died in a fire earlier that day. Not only did they loose their parents but they also lost their house which meant that they will be sent away to live with a relitive they have never even heard of before. Count Olaf was a greedy man who cared about nothing but acting and money. Unfortunately this is the relative who they were sent to live with and the man that will make their lives even worst then they already are. Personal Reaction; I think this book was okay I only gave it three stars because their were some parts in the book that i felt like were repeating them selves and it got boring in parts of the book. Reasons I liked it were that it had a lot of words that i haven't heard before, and I thought it was cool how the author was able to use them. I also thought the author did a good job with sensory detail. You could very easly imagine the situation they were in.
