I have a question, are classes just starting for those who are under 16 or are they in the middle of a term? And how does the time work in this Divergent World? How would I know when my character is 16, and has to go through the the Aptitude Test?

Basically you just randomly roleplay until you decide your character should turn sixteen. Everyone does aptitude for their characters over the same few days and then goes through initiation at the same time

Like Face Claim's for characters- basically claiming actors faces and such so there aren't doubles for appearances.

We don't claim faces. When I approve a character I know if it's a double appearance of a person and I tell the owner. Although I do appreciate when members do not choose famous actors and or singers for their characters.

Okay, can someone please explain how the different factions and initiatives work? I have not read the books and this is a little confusing

Sure. There are 5 factions. Dauntless(the brave), who are your warriors and military. Abnegation, the selfless, who is the government and help the poor. Erudite the intelligent, who are the scientists, doctors, etc. Candor, the truthful, who are the judges and lawyers. And amity the peaceful who are the farmers. When someone turns 16, they go to a choosing ceremony where they pick which factions they would like to be in. Once they choose, they become an initiate, and train with that specific faction. Then once they complete initiation, they become a member of that faction.

Oh sorry left something out. The day before the choosing ceremony there is an aptitude test where they undergo testing and are given their most likely faction. You don't have to go to that faction but if you dont know then they normally go with that one or the faction that they were raised in.

You create a character first. Under the initiates 2 folder (following the format) and then you can take the aptitude test.

Hi there :) so you do actually roleplay the ceremony. But that topic is closed right now since your initiate will be in the second round. What you will do though(once the second round of initiates is open for beginning) is sign up for the aptitude test in the What to Do topic of the Aptitude folder. One of the mods, which may be Tris, Enchanted, Ginny, Kaylin, or myself, will create a topic and you will answer questions and get your result. Once that is done, you sign up again in the What to Do topic of the Choosing Ceremony folder. Tris will then call your initiate's name and you will in one post roleplay their choosing.

But for now, as long as your character's approved, you can roleplay in the school folder or factions folder. Be sure to remember that your character won't be in a faction they are not apart of yet :) you can also find people to roleplay with in the respective topic :)
