Is there guidance anywhere on determining which age range a book/story for children would be most suitable for?

Sorry Scott, the fault was in my question.
I have written a story which is plainly for children, but I am unsure of the age-range and how to determine it.

I suppose I wondered whether there was some recognised classification beyond YA.

I think there are classification and the books are divided by age or grade, but I am not personally familiar how exactly. Maybe you can ask in a group about children's books.
