"Can I just say, I really hate this job," Harmonia said, and rubbed her eyes as she was reading her script for the variety show later on that she had to host. "Deal with it!" someone else from the wardrobe department yelled, and Harmonia rolled her eyes, reading her script again. "Who the heck writes such lines! It's so embarrassing, like, I'd have to say 'Hey everyone, welcome to the Cupid Match-Making Show! It's wonderful to have all of you here, wish I was part of the participant, because I'd love to get in love again!' Hell, Ariel, I did not sign up for this," Harmonia ranted to her best friend who was also part of the wardrobe, and sighed afterwards, knowing that the main purpose for her to get into the media industry was to get close to that lady. Of course, she was put to hosting because of her quick thinking, which really sucked because she wanted to have an office job. Harmonia thought she would have a background job, but nope, the higher-ups had to put her there. She paced around the studio, wondering if the script writer would be there so she could chastise him or her, and just kill them really. Harmonia kept the script in her messenger bag and went to the holding room to take a sip of her tea that she kept in her thermo flask, looking around to see if anyone was in there. When she realised it was empty, she took out her laptop and went through her gallery that was password-protected, looking at the pictures she had gathered in order to plot out her plan against the lady who let the murderer of her brother go scot free. She hated her to the core, her brother was all she had; trust Harmonia to once think that lady was nice. Eventually, the lady was just pretending. Just like in the media industry whereby everyone was fake, no one was sincere or genuine.

"Excuse me," a security guard almost knocked Nathan off his feet while he tried to pass. "Can I see some ID?" he asked, his face straight as Nathan groaned, fishing through his backpack to grab the key he'd been given by the director. "So do you just stand here all day and wait for someone to stumble in?" Nathan began hazing the guard until his cell buzzed, another text from the director. "Well it was a pleasure, uh.. William, was it?" he winked as he clearly could see the disgust in the man's eyes as he rushed past, climbing the stairs two at a time before reaching the reality studio.

Harmonia continued to scroll through the pictures and re-filed them, putting them into neater folders so that she knew where to find them and what to find in it. Then she shut off her laptop and drank her tea again, clearing her throat to prepare for the filming later on. As she was in the dressing room putting on her clothes for later; which were a disgusting shade of pink and blue, she heard someone yell that the script writer was here. "Which scriptwriter?" Harmonia questioned the person who ran breathlessly into the room. "The one that you hate obviously," Ariel rolled her eyes as she started meddling with her hair, wondering what to do with the long brown hair. Harmonia let out a scoff and stood up, brushing Ariel gently. "I'm going to find him, be right back!" she told Ariel, and bounded out of the dressing room, heading towards the studio where she knew most of the production crew were. They purposely asked for the main script writer to be there so that he could maybe edit it on the spot if there was any error prior to the show, which, served a good purpose for Harmonia because she really wanted to give the script writer a piece of her mind. She tuck a piece of hair behind her ear and took out her phone, ready to snap a picture of him so she could deem him as her mortal enemy. As Harmonia walked out, she saw someone who had dark black charcoal hair and similarly coloured eyes entering, as if he had just came from a run. He was handsome, for sure, and she couldn't help but have a sneaky suspicion that he was the guy she was looking for all those while, the one who wrote her stupid lines. She gave a quick glance at the audience, and realised that there were people already coming in, so she also couldn't do much, the only thing she could do was perhaps berate him.
"That's the script writer," someone told her, and Harmonia nodded a thanks, walking straight up to him with one hand holding her phone and the other stuffed in her pocket. If she wasn't wearing the ridiculous outfit, she might've looked bad-ass with her stormy grey eyes, but of course, she was wearing it so she kind of looked awkward. "Hi, I presume you're the script writer?" Harmonia asked him, her mouth set in a thin line.

"Mr. Kim!" a young woman with a large headset rushed to his side, shoving it onto his own and pulling him off by the elbow. "Thank goodness you've arrived, we just have a few comments on the script so far, but you'll have at least five minutes to go over and change what you see fit." She handed him a coffee and brought him to a small green-room where the director was sitting with the soundboard management, and a few camera men. Ushering him to his seat he dropped his laptop gently, taking the papers from the directors hands as everyone in the room seemed to hum with comments of their own as he scanned the papers, noting every change they'd personally made, sighing to himself. "Alright," he took a deep breath setting down the notes and opening the file on his laptop. "I'll begin necessary changes.."

Harmonia stared after him incredulously, and almost gave him the finger but knew she couldn't do anything inappropriate because she was a star, and well, she can't very well ruin her reputation because of one stupid script writer who doesn't really know how to write scripts could she? Harmonia sighed, and raked a hand through her still messy hair and went to the dressing room once more, getting Ariel to help her fix up her hair. She knew during this time the scriptwriter would be editing the script, and she'd have to impromptu if she forgot any of the new changes, but at that time, Harmonia didn't really care any more. After another girl meddled with her make up even more, she looked absolutely stunning and even the outfit didn't look like a clown any more. She had her hair down in soft curls that hung slightly below her breasts and her fringe styled into side bangs, pushed to one side and tucked behind one ear because they were simply long enough. Her face was made up simply, but it was enough to contrast with the bright colours of the costume; which was fine by her.
"Standby!!" someone yelled from the other corner and Harmonia gulped, scrambling out of her chair and going to the studio where she would do her recording in. Nearby, there was a green-room and she saw that the script writer was actually there; yes, the script writer she was kind of pissed at, but because she had everything all perfect and ready, Harmonia was all right by then. Harmonia ignored the person and sprayed a berry scented perfume on her, going into the room proper for the recording, and smiled at the mini audience that the production crew had hired to make noise and such. "You do know what we have too do right?" one of the directors rushed up to her, and she rolled her eyes, "I know. Anyway after a short introduction, it's already break so any changes of the script can be showed to me by then. Unless we have another one minute to go through the edited script? Which, by the way, is probably still under construction by the script writer, whatever his name is." The director laughed and rushed back in, putting a finger on the script writer, "Hey, the lady's waiting for your edited script."

It took Nathan minutes to finish editing, most people assumed he was a lazy good for nothing based on the way he dressed and carried himself. But in all honesty, he was pretty quick with his fingers and he could read faster than any other editor he'd ever met. Proofreading for the third time before the director came and tapped his shoulder, he grinned, tossing the pages up as the director scrambled to catch them before they fell out of proper order. "Tell the princess if she has any other ideas to let me know during break, okay?" taking a gulp of coffee he sat back, watching the little screen that seemed to almost hover on the wall as he waited for the show to begin. He never usually sold himself off to these kinds of reality TV deals, but money was pretty tight considering he was still new to the scripting business and this was the only thing he could find in time to pay the bills.
He watched as the director exited the green-room, seeming distraught as he handed the new script of to a camera man close to the stage exit as the show began. The title screen lit up in bright pinks, blues, and purples as the theme music began to play. "Ugh.." Nathan groaned, he hoped that they used his pen name instead of his real one on these credits, because if any one back home saw that he was anywhere near this crap, he would not hear the end of it. Raking his fingers gently through his bed-head ridden hair he waited, watching the poor host stumble through the lines, well...she didn't stumble through the lines, she owned each sentence perfectly, but he could see the tension in her jaw. She absolutely hated him for each breath between the cliche's he'd forced upon her.
