Two different authors with the same name

I have a question about two different authors with the same name. Is there a way to separate the two authors from one another?

Yes. We use extra spaces between names to disambiguate authors. E.g, John^Smith is separated from John^^Smith. Do you have a specific set of authors you need to disambiguate?
