SOLVED. Rock series, one book where Lead singer has a vocal hemorrhage on stage [s]

I cannot remember the name of the rock series but i do rememeber that most of the books take place in Portland , Oregon and LA. I do knkw that the singer chews on Twizzlers or Red Vines to help 'lube' his vocal cords because he screams a lot.

One of the books, if im not mistaken (i hope its not an entirely different series), the bamd's bad boy has a PR lady following him around trying to clean up his bad rep.
