Now you can tell what my weaknesses are!

But you do bring up a good point tho!

My plan is this...To be able to purchase a new book I have to finish off a book I alread..."
Wow - a self control challenge! Good luck ;)

You know if you buy yourself a gift card at Amazon, it just reduces that as you buy, plus you don't pay any international fees on your credit card...took me a long time (too long) to learn that, but that's what I do now:)

Wow, good luck with that Laura! It's a really good goal but will take a lot of will power :)

Kinda doing the same with my gaming purchases...I actually took a massive break from gaming...Nothing has piled on top of what i already own...but i figure i need to polish some of those older games off...So, I've finished about 5 or 6 games since pucking up the controller again in Dec.

1/5 (Bonus books)

This is in a series but don't need to be read in any order..It's historically acute but done in a fun way..Looking through the eyes of a girl who works at a cotton factory between the age of 13/14.

I recently picked up LEGO Ninjago: Character Encyclopedia, LEGO NINJAGO Brickmaster (but mine is the updated version), LEGO Minifigure Year by Year: A Visual History, Frog Music and Ethan Grout
So, yeah....Not entirely killing my TBR by buying more but with two books on the go I'm still making some sort of inroads.

Technically I don't own this book...I read it at work...But I'm also using this for the 50 book challenge so it's going here as well.
And due to the condition of the LEGO Minifigure book I had to send that back....So my latest purchase Australia's Most Murderous Prison: Behind the Walls of Goulburn Jail doesn't count towards the bonus book...I should have another book finished before the LEGO book comes back to me.

Bloomin long title!!

Heh..A work read but again it's going toward my 50 read for the year goal. I should be able to list this multiple times as I've probably read it 10 plus times already since last week!! Lol

Another work read :P Didn't really make any effort to read this weekend..Maybe next weekend or hopefully during the week unless I come home dead tired as per usual..lol

17) Lulu's Holiday
18) Who's Making That Noise?
19) Maisy's Pool
20) Spot's Baby Sister

22) The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest
23) The Girl in the Spider's Web

YAY! 30 books done :D Few more if I could remember the names of them (more children's book tho so I don't mind if I leave them off).
Books mentioned in this topic
The Red Beast: Controlling Anger in Children with Asperger's Syndrome (other topics)The Panicosaurus: Managing Anxiety in Children Including Those with Asperger Syndrome (other topics)
The Disappointment Dragon: Learning to cope with disappointment (for all children and dragon tamers, including those with Asperger syndrome) (other topics)

The Man Who Loved Boxes (other topics)
My plan is this...To be able to purchase a new book I have to finish off a book I already own be it on the Kindle or on my shelf. However, I'm giving myself a little "bonus" to help kick things off...I'm allowed to purchase 5 books of my choosing without needing to finish 5 old books.
I will also give myself the goal of reading 50 books in the year so that'll help with some guidance too.
