Bianca wrote: "or they have nothing to say"yeah I think that is one of the reasons and then I have seen alot of hostility in a bunch of groups some people just dont know how to play nice, or fair and thats where people would be scared to post because they dont want to get in between something.....

...that makes sense. except for the fact of, they joined the group, and whats the point of doing that if you're not going to say anything?
friends if there friends invited them then they feel an obligation to join even though they are not interested others probably just join as many as they can and never visit them..... just possibilities
because blue is what they have the most of you see they had a huge shipment of blue which was a mistake you see when you look at the water one way its blue they had so much they just threw it into the air and it became the sky = ]
For me, I have not commented before because some conversations are days into and MANY comments later than when I catch up so I feel silly making a comment after so much has gone on. It can be very hard to wade through some of those long posts and almost always, by the end, there are 5 different conversations going on which makes it even more difficult for me to truly comment.
ah. that's why I always join newer groups. xD But it's not silly, as far as I've been able to tell, no one minds if a new person joins way into a topic
Well if you say so then I will jump in...Maybe I am just so used to other posting sites where the long-timers feel that they must haze the newbies by harassing them about whatever they comment on. But I should expect people who love to read to be more intelligent souls and therefore more tolerant. I will start posting more :)
Are you guys still wondering why the sky is blue?? LOL If you search on Google Books for a book called The Stars in Their Courses by James Jeans, go to page 23 and read from "Let us pause for a moment to consider the scientific reasons...." until page 25 or so, I think you'll get your answer. Believe it or not, we had to read that passage in my college English class as an example of using metaphor to assuage a reader, get them to understand something that they would normally find really difficult or perplexing. :)
lolz. I'm glad you'll start posting Nicole! xD
That sounds cool Sarah! I might have to go read that. xD

Hahaha I'm sorry. I couldn't resist sharing. I laughed when I read the post earlier. :) It was too perfect.
