Hi everyone!

This is a question I have long been considering and was wondering if you could provide some feedback! How does the Age of Miracles compare to other coming of age novels (let's go with classic archetypes)?

Well this book is about the world slowing down in its turning, which effects everything. It is very similar to the book Life as We Knew It. I have no clue what the Coming of Age novels are, because this book is the only one the author has ever written. Hope this is useful to you, and I for one strongly recommend this book.

If you're looking for an interesting light read, this book would be good for you. I've just finished reading this book and I liked it. You'll feel so many things at once as you go through the pages, but most of all, you'll feel heartbroken as you reach the end. You should def read this!

I found the "coming of age" part of this book charming. Losing her best friend and feeling alienated by the other kids in her school is something that happens to most kids at one point or another. That first love was fun to read about, even if it wasn't the most realistic. Perhaps I had a hard time believing that (13-year-olds?) could develop such a bond in what seemed like a pretty short period of time. Even so, I still enjoyed reading it. I, too, was the most interested in the world slowing down and how that affected everyone. For me, that was the most entertaining part of the book.
